Awesome addition to our shower.

The Delta Dryden collection looks great. Unfortunately, its expensive, and its the one my wife wanted. This looks better with the Dryden fixtures than the rounded elbow. 5 stars if it was 30% cheaper. 5 stars if my wife lets me into the shower with her.

This is a fundamentally flawed design. It requires a 1/2 MPT nipple protruding from your wall at EXACTLY the right distance, or you cannot get a seal. I installed three of these in a new construction shower, both the plumbing and the tile done by seasoned high end professionals. When it came time to mount this shower elbow, I had a choice of 1.5 or 2 inch long nipples. The 2 was too long: I could get a good seal on the threads but the elbow wouldnt bottom out on the tile. The 1.5 would bottom on the tile but the threads werent sealed. i tried multiple times using teflon tape, pipe dope, more teflon tape, all to no avail. Once its bottomed out, youre done. The only way to make it tighter would be to turn the entire unit another revolution, which I also tried, scratching the surface of the elbow even through my protective cloth, and almost breaking off the fitting inside the wall. Bottom line: this product is flawed. It needs a totally different design so it has some adjustability to the mounting and sealing. Avoid.

Nice looking elbow. Had to return the first one though because it didnt have the nipple on it No issue for the replacement and came with nipple attached.

Didnt have time to shop and bought based on availability. I think it is a quality product but certainly not worth almost $70 for a pice of threaded metal! There are quality alternatives at half the price.

Keeps hose near wall just as shown.

Recently installed a new shower with a hand held head. Couldnt find the exact same model as my diverter but this was a very close match.
