To the people who purchased this fitting and it worked perfectly, I am happy for you! For those of you purchased this item and had a bad experience I share your frustration! I have to say I thought DELTA could have engineered this a little better and built in some adaptability. This thing is very unforgivable. It is hit or miss when tightening. Also in the process of trying to install my stainless steel fitting I scratched the surface in a place where it can be seen. Removed and attempted to buff out the scratch. Imagine my surprise to find out this is really a brass fitting with a coating of stainless steel! I dont think this was mentioned in the description. Thought I was paying for stainless. Well being the glutton for punishment and wanting things to match I purchased a second one! This time I am going to use an Inlet Nipple 1/2 NPS (National Pipe Straight thread) meaning the threads do not taper! Maybe one of these should have been included so it can be custom trimmed to length. It has been a very frustrating experience.

There is not much to say about it. It is a simply device and there is not much that can go wrong.

Works like it should connecting my hand held shower head hose to the wall. Good enough for me. Heres a list of all the stuff I bought for my bathroom remodel and they all fit and work together seamlessly.
