Expensive but if youre using DeWalt batteries all day this is great so you can charge them all up at once when you get home. I use this with both 6ah flexvolt and 6ah 20v max batteries. No problem.

The key to knowing whether its right for you is to do a little math. DeWalt ships chargers in 1.25A, 2.0A, 4.0A, 8.0A and theres a 12A charger. Anything greater than 4.0A is considered a Fast Charger and will have a built in fan. This one charges any/all ports at 8.0A. Say you just bought a Lawnmower with two big 12.0ah batteries. That kit comes with two 1.25A chargers. Meaning, it will take about 10 hours to fully recharge both batteries. So, this baby will charge both batteries in about 2 hours. Now, if youre not a contractor or dont have a big yard, maybe overnight is OK. The next charger down the line that will charge the big batteries in less than overnight time is the 4.0A. at $89 retail. 2 of these will cost about the same as the 4 port charger. And the new 12A Fast charger is $119 now. Now, I have 4 charging ports taking up just one outlet. I bought mine before the big price hike, so it made sense - even though Im not a contractor.

As a non-recovering DeWalt cordless tool addict, this fit the bill perfectly. My issue is with the product description. This site says it charges 60v Flex batteries. When the product arrived there was no indication on the box that it charged anything larger than 20v. There is a single, obscure page in the owners manual (a chart actually) that confirms it should. Well, it does work on 60v Flex!

I really like this charger, I can charge 4 9hr batteries at the same time on short time. I really recommend it!

Wall mounting requires very long screws but i coupled this with a tool holder and a battery holder so that I have a nice wall of battery powered tools.

I always wanted one of these and I was keeping an eye on the price as it would go up and down in conjunction with my local DeWalt dealer. Well everything lined up just right one day and this was available cheaper on Amazon than it was at my DeWalt dealer and I actually had the money to buy it so I did not hesitate. This has been a wonderful charger as I knew it would be. DeWalt is simply great quality!

As expected this is a solid charger for either Flexvolt, 20V max and even the new Powerstack batteries. Solidly mounts to the original ToughSystem storage boxes, but does not fit on the newer ToughSystem 2 boxes. Does its charging in parallel. Does its charging fast. Can be mounted to a wall and has a unique through-hole mounting points that allows you to not use those hard to line up with key slots. There are a few videos showing how to modify the base to mount on the TS2 cases, but all are destructive modifications. Still it does what it says it will and it is a real boon to Dewalt owners with attacks of batteries.

    Worth buying the Dewalt

Four-port fast charger that charges 12V MAX*, 20V MAX*, and FLEXVOLT 20V/60V MAX* batteries at the same time. This fast charger quickly charges a 4.0Ah 20V MAX* battery in 40 minutes, and a 6.0Ah 20V MAX* battery in 60 minutes. The DEWALT 20V MAX* battery charger is also designed to fit our Tool Connect Tag, and is ToughSystem compatible.
