> 3 dayAs a non-recovering DeWalt cordless tool addict, this fit the bill perfectly. My issue is with the product description. This site says it charges 60v Flex batteries. When the product arrived there was no indication on the box that it charged anything larger than 20v. There is a single, obscure page in the owners manual (a chart actually) that confirms it should. Well, it does work on 60v Flex!

> 3 dayObviously you don’t really need it because most batteries come with chargers but it’s so convenient and the batteries charge RAPIDLY. DO NOT BUY THE KNOCKOFF BRAND. They will fry your batteries. If you can’t afford the dewalt brand 4-way charger, use the individual dewalt brand chargers.

> 3 dayI was unsure about buying the fast charger but have never looked back. The Dewalt products that drain batteries faster such as their large masonry saw and large Leaf blower require batteries to be changed out, every 15 to 20 minutes. Given the power of those battery operated tools, I have found the charger to be invaluable for all day work.

Greater than one weekAs expected this is a solid charger for either Flexvolt, 20V max and even the new Powerstack batteries. Solidly mounts to the original ToughSystem storage boxes, but does not fit on the newer ToughSystem 2 boxes. Does its charging in parallel. Does its charging fast. Can be mounted to a wall and has a unique through-hole mounting points that allows you to not use those hard to line up with key slots. There are a few videos showing how to modify the base to mount on the TS2 cases, but all are destructive modifications. Still it does what it says it will and it is a real boon to Dewalt owners with attacks of batteries.

05-04-2025This is one of those things you don’t want to spend your money on but when you have it you wouldn’t trade it for anything…. I’ve had 1 since it came out long time ago…. I bought another for shop use… if you have a lot of batteries this is a much have. 1 hour charging is a game changer when your out on a site

I’m always switching between tools and trying to find a battery that works, until I purchased this charger now I always have my batteries fully charged all the time it’s so great!!

> 3 dayThe key to knowing whether its right for you is to do a little math. DeWalt ships chargers in 1.25A, 2.0A, 4.0A, 8.0A and theres a 12A charger. Anything greater than 4.0A is considered a Fast Charger and will have a built in fan. This one charges any/all ports at 8.0A. Say you just bought a Lawnmower with two big 12.0ah batteries. That kit comes with two 1.25A chargers. Meaning, it will take about 10 hours to fully recharge both batteries. So, this baby will charge both batteries in about 2 hours. Now, if youre not a contractor or dont have a big yard, maybe overnight is OK. The next charger down the line that will charge the big batteries in less than overnight time is the 4.0A. at $89 retail. 2 of these will cost about the same as the 4 port charger. And the new 12A Fast charger is $119 now. Now, I have 4 charging ports taking up just one outlet. I bought mine before the big price hike, so it made sense - even though Im not a contractor.
