> 3 dayHesitated for awhile on this one but so glad I did. It was worth every penny. A while back I came across a deal I couldnt pass up with a 2 pack of the 3AH batteries. In the single charger that I have, they take foooreeeever to charge. No embellishments on that! I mean hours! So, that was this chargers 1st test. Completely dead, quit while using hammer drill….charged it fully in approximately 25 mins.!

04-06-2025Dewalt has put in magical gnomes that stir the atmosphere into a space/time continuum that rips the fiber or reality. There is nothing better than placing 4 tired batteries who have put in a long day and they are fully charged before you eat and get out of the shower. Do not buy anything else. I paid 129 for a 2 port regular charger and gave it to a friend for no charge. This is the only charger to ever buy period, hands down, dont even ask for another review, perfect charging system. Even with monster 9 amp hour batteries they still charge before it is time for me to goto bed. I have right at 1800 dollars worth of batteries and can charge them all in 1 night. Edit 2 years 3 months later and it is now 2021 and still working as good as it did the day i plugged it in the first time. I bought in 2018 so this is the perfect gift for anyone who has dewalt tools

> 3 dayThis unit is awesome! Built tough and it charges my 60v batteries so fast simultaneously with my 20v batteries. Wish I would have bought this so long ago. I mounted it to a piece of plywood that had Milwaukee Packout feet attached to the bottom of it. Simple mount and dismount from my Packout toolbox anytime. Big fan of the DCB104! You won’t regret the cost—worth every penny!

> 3 dayThe key to knowing whether its right for you is to do a little math. DeWalt ships chargers in 1.25A, 2.0A, 4.0A, 8.0A and theres a 12A charger. Anything greater than 4.0A is considered a Fast Charger and will have a built in fan. This one charges any/all ports at 8.0A. Say you just bought a Lawnmower with two big 12.0ah batteries. That kit comes with two 1.25A chargers. Meaning, it will take about 10 hours to fully recharge both batteries. So, this baby will charge both batteries in about 2 hours. Now, if youre not a contractor or dont have a big yard, maybe overnight is OK. The next charger down the line that will charge the big batteries in less than overnight time is the 4.0A. at $89 retail. 2 of these will cost about the same as the 4 port charger. And the new 12A Fast charger is $119 now. Now, I have 4 charging ports taking up just one outlet. I bought mine before the big price hike, so it made sense - even though Im not a contractor.

> 3 dayExpensive but if youre using DeWalt batteries all day this is great so you can charge them all up at once when you get home. I use this with both 6ah flexvolt and 6ah 20v max batteries. No problem.

03-06-2025I have been eyeing this charger for a while. The going price used to $199.00, I wish I bought it that price. I am very pleased with this charger. As an experiment I charged a 6AH flexvolt, two 20 volt and a 12 volt battery simultaneously. The batteries charged rapidly and independent of each other. I’ll admit this isn’t a charger for the occasional user, however if you are a serious DYIer using the Dewalt platform you might want to consider this one. USB charging ports would have been a nice bonus. Dewalt?
