DEWALT DW2298 1/2-Inch Square to 1/4-Inch Adaptor Hex Rapid Load , Black

Has came off of my Dewalt impact a couple times while in use seems a little loose fitting I’ve had a couple months

It’s a cool idea, and it works , but I’m left wanting. It didn’t come with the pictured ring/pin holder, and it fits loosely which make bits wobble.

Overall a pretty good product, a little loose where it connects to the Chuck, and tends to pull off when in use.

It’s very good except when it is plugged in all the way it feels a little loose and not sturdy .

Driven over 1000 timber screws and no problems. Did have problem with bit getting stuck like others did but put a few drops of oil in it and problem salved. Put a few drops of oil in before you use it and will work just fine.

Have your 1/2 impact wrench double as heavyweight 1/4 impact driver. Overkill for most situations, but for some applications it is quite handy.

This thing rocks, we used it to drive 12+ grk into large timbers to make timber trusses and it worked so good. The only bad thing is I lost it but thats on me, ill definitely buy another one for the next project

Occasionally it would be good to be able to use my 1/2 impact driver with 1/4 inch hes stuff. This would not be for continuous use, but for the once in a while use, it fits the bill

The adapter works well. However it does not stay on the tool as well as I’d like. Even with the ball in the detent, it’s sporadically falls off. Very good durability
