> 3 dayI was very disappointed in this product, having purchased it for an impact wrench attachment. DeWalt markets long bits specifically for that purpose ... they have a bit on both ends of the workpiece. Unfortunately, they go too deep into this attachment and get completely stuck. I finally drilled a hole through the bottom so I could drive it out. Very frustrating. Works fine for the short bits, but this defect would stop me from buying it if I knew it in advance. Fair warning!

> 3 dayI have the Makita XWT15Z and this adapter is not compatible. The detent hole in this adapter is larger than the detent ball on the impact so the dewalt adapter easily slips off. Its a shame, because this adapter seems to be excellent quality.

Thanku?
13-06-2025It’s a cool idea, and it works , but I’m left wanting. It didn’t come with the pictured ring/pin holder, and it fits loosely which make bits wobble.

15-06-2025The retaining ring on the front was loose and prevented the collar from returning completely. So, I pried the ring out with pliers and bent it into shape. Now, the bit is seated firmly, does not slip out, and the collar is pushed securely to the face. Bought this adapter to use my impact wrench to drive timber screws. Tested and works perfect.

> 3 dayI wouldnt recommend it for high torque impact wrenches simply because as an adapter, your liable to wear it out pretty quick if you put too much torque on it. But for smaller impact wrenches like the Dewalt atomic 20v compact, its essentially a conversion kit. Works almost identically to the 20v brushless imapct driver I used to use for construction. Maybe a tad slower. The fit was snug on a hog ring anvil, with no wobble at all. Could hardly tell it was there

Greater than one weekBought this to use hex bits with my larger impact on concrete anchors. It works well for that, but I feel like the quick release spring/clip will break as it doesnt feel very durable or smooth. I read some reviews on that breaking, but for as often as Ill use it Im not worried.

> 3 dayI had to turn a torx head screw in and only had a 1/4 shanked bit to do it with, I used a 3/8 to 1/4 adapter with a 1/4 socket put the bit in the socket and promptly twisted it right in two. I bought this and it is solid as a rock, allows me to use my longer 1/2 socket wrench too.
