DeWalt DW8005 10 x 7/64 x 5/8 General Purpose Metal Chop Saw Wheel

I replaced an unknown brand disc that I paid around $20 locally with this. It has already lasted longer than the more expensive disc. Ive made probably 6 cuts through 5/16 - 5 steel tube and probably 10 cuts through 3/8 x 8 steel bar. I could probably make all of these cuts again with the same disc. Should be noted that Im using a wood chop saw and Im not very delicate when I cut as Im pretty impatient.

Used to cut Schluter Kerdi edge profile that was stainless steel. Cut like crap. Scorched/blued the steel and left burrs. Blade is too thick for clean cuts.

Does the job, but you need to be patient. As all such products, it wears down too quickly.

Seems to work as intended.

I used it to cut aluminum, steel, two by four, all very easy and precise. The quality of wood cut is just so perfect, no wood cutting blade will come close to the smoothness of this blade. Its a bit slow, creating a lot of sparks and smoke (when cutting wood), but the end result is what counts. Very nice blade indeed.

Tried to use this to cut iron balusters. Way too slow and too many sparks. Looked like 4th of July in my garage. I had much better results with my Bosch Multitool.

Cuts nice but wears a little quick.
