DeWalt DW8005 10 x 7/64 x 5/8 General Purpose Metal Chop Saw Wheel

Metal cutting disk for my miter saw.

I used this blade to cut 2 1/2 exhaust tubing. Worked great and was far superior to using my angle grinder.

Most likely not a true DeWalt product. Came in bubble wrap and paper mailer. Not proper DeWalt packaging. Blade lasted long enough for one cut then center pilot hole blew out, blade was properly centered and in stalled.

10 to 20 days, dont waste your time or money

I used it to cut aluminum, steel, two by four, all very easy and precise. The quality of wood cut is just so perfect, no wood cutting blade will come close to the smoothness of this blade. Its a bit slow, creating a lot of sparks and smoke (when cutting wood), but the end result is what counts. Very nice blade indeed.

Cuts great, especially with oil for non-ferrous metals that like to grit away more than slice away into powder. It also requires some good ventilation if you plan to use these things frequently! Ultimately if it only lasts for one big project, its worth the price. I installed it on my lumber chop saw which performed well without any obvious signs of wear or destruction on the saw.

Yep, lucky it did not fly in pieces. Miter saw straight cut on light gauge aluminum. As noted in another review more melted than cut.

I ordered 2 of these. One was so out of balance I thought it would fly apart on the saw. The other was OK. Thinking there couldnt be anything wrong with it, I didnt use it for 3 months - too late to return it. If you order one of these, try it out!!
