> 24 hourthis chart has the actual thread so it is so much more valuable when working on a project...also, not every vendor has all the threads on hand to view...this chart allows you to see the different types of threads and the ombre as the hues change....excellent purchase and usable for years to come

> 24 hourThis arrived in very good condition and seems to have all the DMC threads. I definitely needed this because I purchased a 150 skeins of floss that I needed to label and the card board color cards are hard to match with the real thing.

> 24 hourSo much Threaded goodness of 500 or so, DMC floss colors! Complete and the most current threaded color card released to date. All 35 new colors are included. While there have been comments about 16 missing colors, this is incorrect. A quick search yields the following explanation. All 16 colors are shown, along with thread samples: Quote “Those 16 threads are specific to Northern America and aren’t sold elsewhere in the world. Its due to the dyes they use. You tend not to find them used in commercial patterns for this reason. However, DMC made new threads to replace these elsewhere in the world, which are: 3880 replaced with 223 3881 replaced with 164 3882 replaced with 839 3883 replaced with 722 3884 replaced with 535 3885 replaced with 312 3886 replaced with 3685 3887 replaced with 208 3888 replaced with 3740 3889 replaced with 445 3890 replaced with 3766 3891 replaced with 995 3892 replaced with 740 3893 replaced with 543 3894 replaced with 907 3895 replaced with 646” I printed the above color info and placed it in my color card for reference. Note. The final page of threaded samples are complete. Some may feel that something is missing, but this is not the case. The light Effects and color variations are simply on the previous threaded sample page. All are included, so no worries. This threaded color card very useful as each color is represented by 9 or more threads. This is very helpful when matching floss color and sheen from, other brands, to DMC colors. (The electronic printed version of the colors is however, easier to use while at a store, vs bringing the entire threaded color card.) The threaded samples, on mine, are very well done, tidy and of high, actual floss quality. The index is very helpful in finding the location of the different colors as it’s in numeric order. Lastly, Although priced higher than buying direct, the $40 price is fair considering it’s always on back order and hard to find. If you, or someone you knows, loves to embroider, cross stitch, etc, than is tool is invaluable! Plus? It’s soooooo pretty! Lolol

> 24 hourI love this updated version. Has more types of threads also. Well worth the money if you do a lot of cross stitch or embroidery.

> 24 hourI do not remember my book from 07 for $10 (half off) from craft shop being so fragile. I found a counted cross stitch with gorgeous butterflies which my great-niece loves. I decided to finish the task of organizing mine and inherited floss only to find the old floss reference guide missing. My relative pitched my floss book, two 98/99% completed counted cross stitch projects, two framed and mounted needlepoint works of art, and a new, very complex 5x7 kit from inside secure needlework project plastic carton. I suggest all craft persons make CLEAR how their art work is to be given, donated or disposed.

> 24 hourVery easy to choose floss for projects using this - comparing with other called for threads in cross stitch and embroidery projects. I think this is an excellent investment for anyone who is an avid stitcher
