I thought this was a marital aid. Turns out its a card game. A super-fun card game, but careful: If youre stuck in your panic room with your spouse, best to limit it to a game a day. We were on an average of fourteen games a day, and let me tell you, its hard to respect your intimate partner after ninety-five back to back games of Dominion, especially if you only stop to sleep, phone the police and frantically negotiate with the team of international jewel thieves laying siege to your panic room while they try to get you to give up the combination to your jewel safe.

Me and my husband really like this game. Its got a nice replayability because you use different cards each game, so its always a little different. Theres some strategy to it but its also a lot about what type of cards you get for the game. Its not difficult to learn at all, and once you get it, the game goes by quickly. Recommend!

We have loved this game. Got if for my 17 year old son for Christmas and we have all enjoyed it down to my twin 8 year olds. The game is made in a way that you can change the setup so that each time you play it is different.

Great update to Dominion. First edition Dominion was a very good game but suffered from the fact that too many of the cards were weak and would only rarely be used in a game between skilled players. That made the game less interesting (though this was quickly fixed if you bought expansions). In the update, six of the weakest cards were removed and replaced with seven stronger/more interesting cards.

I play an excessive amount of board games. This is SUPER easy to learn but interesting enough for even the indiest of indie board game enthusiasts! I selfishly gifted it to all my groups of friends so I can play it with anyone. You wont regret it!

We love this game! It’s one of our favorite tabletop games. Our 8yo, who understands and plays lots of strategy games, can play with us. To get an idea of our tastes, we also love Alhambra, 7 Wonders, Carcassonne, Puerto Rico, Munchkin, and similar...

Dominion: 2nd Edition is an improvement over the classic Dominion. Upgraded covers and cards make it more interesting and fun to play. This new version has streamlined rules and amended card text to eliminate confusion. You are a monarch, like your parents before you, a ruler of a small pleasant Kingdom of rivers and evergreens. Unlike your parents, however, you have hopes and dreams. You want a bigger and more pleasant Kingdom, with more rivers and a wider variety of trees. You want a Dominion. In all directions lie fiefs, freeholds, and feodums. All are small bits of land, controlled by Petty Lords and verging on Anarchy. You will bring civilization to these people, uniting them under your banner. But wait. It must be something in the air, several other monarchs have had the exact same idea. You must race to get as much of the unclaimed land as possible, fending them off along the way. To do this you will hire minions, construct buildings, spruce up your castle, and fill the coffers of your treasury. Your parents wouldn"t be proud, but your grandparents would be delighted.
