> 3 dayDominion is an incredible game that I learned how to play recently. One of its best features is that no two games are the same. The variety of cards allows you to replay the game over and over again with new actions on the table and a different combination of action cards.

> 3 dayFirst of all, this is an amazing game. My fiance and I played it once together to get the game figured out before playing with friends, which was a really good idea. There is a steep learning curve, and it doesnt really make sense at first. However, after youve played it a couple of times, you start to figure out the strategies involved. We loved it after the first game though. It is now our go-to game on game nights with friends; they all even bought a copy plus an expansion pack for it.

> 3 dayDominion is awesome. I didnt buy it for a long time because its not exactly the most appealing looking game, but our group recently got into deck builders and my mother in law was looking for present ideas for Christmas. We opened it right away, but I have to be honest and say that we couldnt bring ourselves to play right away. The rulebook is horrendous. Absolute walls of text, most of it unneeded. Nevertheless, we persisted and after we managed to find the game overview, we realized how simple the game really is. Draw a hand of 5 cards from your deck. Play an action card and follow the directions on the card. Buy something. Clean up. My friends tell me it was super easy to learn and familiar feeling for Magic players, but I have never played a game like that and I caught on easily. I still havent quite developed my strategy, but the nice thing is Dominion isnt a game that causes a lot of butt hurt, in our experience, so its still fun to play even when you lose. It doesnt have the terribly long stalls like Catan can. It doesnt play quite as fast as the box says, but perhaps thats because we play for fun and not to break the game. If youre into card counting and probabilities, you could probably strategize your way to a win very quickly, though!

> 3 dayBought it after not playing it for awhile. Definitely not as fun as I remember. I would have passed on this if I would have known it wouldnt be as much fun.

> 3 dayThis is a great game. We started out cherry picking or favorite cards but found it much more fun doing the random draw - every game is totally different. Only problem is getting my wife to play anything else - of our 25+games.

> 3 dayHusband received this game for Christmas from our son. SUCH a fun game to play, easy rules... and the game was packaged and shipping in a timely manor. Definitely a gem of a game for family game night!

Greater than one weekWe love this game! We really enjoy strategy games and think falls into that category. It does require flat table space. But it can work for a wide range of ages. We play with our 9yo and he gets it and keeps us with us just fine. Great thinking game. Could team up with younger ones if they struggled but its not that hard. Its just too win youve got to out strategize the others, and have a bit of luck, as there is some chance involved. It ranks up there with Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, 7 Wonders, and such. Great game.
