This is a nice and good soap, but the smell leaves a lot to be desired. The smell is like what your grandma‘s (clean) undies would smell like in her undie drawer….. this is a smell from the 1950s!

This soap is great it lathers good and smells great. Makes skin soft and smooth. Luv Dove products!

Removes grease and grime and moisturizes

This review will be probably lost in the hundreds of thousands of reviews but I want to write a review anyway to share my positive experience. My wife has been using this exact brand and specific soap for the last 10yrs and her skin is smooth and soft. She doesnt use any additional lotion or moisturizers. We recently came back from having a Thanksgiving dinner with her extended family and all of her sisters (whom are all younger than her) are jealous of how how young and soft her skins are.

I have always used Dove. I have a few bars of Dove at home, both pink and white, and this does not smell anything like the Dove I have. I guess Dove has changed their formula. I just returned an order of Dove white moisturizing bars because it has a strong flowery harsh smell. This smells the same unpleasant smell as the white bars.

I used to use body wash but switched to soap after feeling like body wash never got me clean enough. I used many different brands including the Dove Body wash which was great but still not the same as the clean feeling you get when using the bar of soap. My skin is very sensitive and most other soaps dried out my skin or made me break out. I finally asked a dermatologist if they could prescribe something that wasnt so harsh on my skin and they told me to use Dove bar soap. I tried it and I have been hooked ever since. Dove bar soap has been wonderful, it leaves my skin feeling moisturized and clean. I have not had any problems with break outs or dry or oily skin since I started using this a few years ago. I even carry a travel size in my purse so that when I need to wash my hands at other places I have it and I dont have to worry about what other soaps are going to do. The smell is great and not to scented which is nice to know that there arent all the fragrances added into the soap. You can this for sensitive skin which I have tried, I didnt notice any difference with my skin between the 2. So I stick to the original white soap and it is wonderful! LOVE DOVE! The product itself is good, Dove is wonderful, but the way the seller packaged it was not good. Try packaging the product in a wrapping paper of some kind instead of putting a sticky tape of some kind. Whatever this sticky stuff was used is worse than regular Scotch tape. The stickiness makes it hard to get apart and left a sticky residue on the soap box, and put the sticky residue on my fingers as well. Made a big mess.

Works really well for sensitive skin.
