Greater than one weekGreat product but the cap came totally broken to where it can’t even be opened without fully taking it off. Not a big deal but very annoying.

> 3 dayI had my hopes high for this soap, and I was not disappointed. I did not try the bar version of this, only the liquid and it is pretty impressive. First thing I noticed when opening the box up is that there are A LOT of words on the bottle. It is some serious bathroom-reading material, has stuff on there not even related to the soap. Forget smartphone poops, its going to be peppermint poops from now on. Next, when using a loofah it builds an amazing lather. Only a few drops will build enough lather to form a beard worthy of Santa himself. What else is good is that when using it, it tingles the body after a few seconds AND it smells just like candy canes. So while youre tingly and refreshed, youll be smelling candy canes for the duration of the shower. So let me summarize all this up in simple pro and con form. Pros: Builds great lather Smells like candy canes Lots of reading material on bottle Tingles Cons: Soap itself is just barely more viscous than water, easy to use too much (if trying to ration) Price is higher than other body-wash Candy cane smell does not last long, and is not powerful once dry

> 3 dayThis soap is amazing and really can do everything. Do not use peppermint in winter.. you’ll be shocked. Orange is good and reminds me of a cleaning product scent, so even though I use it on my body, I also use it on the toilet. Peppermint helps keep gnats away too! *TMI - if you bleed out, take your undies to the sink and use the soap and scrub. My teenagers were really impressed as they started their life cycles and knew they didn’t have to have stained undies * 100% buy it by the liquid and the bar

> 3 dayI purchased the 16 oz bottle of this nifty gifty as part of my research for when Im out and about traveling. :) I was mainly interested in how well it cleans the body, how well it acts as shampoo, soap, tooth paste, and cleaning laundry. For the latter, it does very well cleaning laundry. I had a worn down, not so great smelling pair of shorts that I washed with vinegar, but the stench was still present. When I bought Dr. Bronners, I did the same thing and the smell was gone, replaced with the peppermint scent of the soap, which is a welcome addition. :) As a toothpaste? Its definitely more of a function over fashion kinda thing. Has a very soapy quality to it, as one would expect. But hey, it cleans the mouth/teeth, and thats whats important. Just chew some gum or clean your palette with something else if its unbearable. For me, it was fine--didnt bother me. For shampoo? Dont use a lot of it as it does dry the hair quickly. It doesnt last after youve washed your hair and dried it, but the hair will be hard to manage during the process. Overall, Im not very sure if Ill be exclusively bringing this along with my traveling. I think itd be necessary for washing my clothes, so I will have a couple travel sized bottle of this bad boy with me. ;D And itll also be good for emergencies, when I dont have body wash, shampoo, tooth paste, or if I need it to clean something else. I hope my review has helped! Just reiterating, its a GREAT product. But when a person is able to bring as many 3 oz bottles that can fit comfortably in a zip lock bag, theres really no point in JUST bringing Dr. Bronners, which is what I was interested in. :) Its definitely not something to knock points off of this product.

> 3 dayLove that you can trust what goes in to Dr. Bronners products and that you know you are cleaning things with whole and natural ingredients! Ive used this as my body wash in the shower as well as a shampoo once or twice. Its got a nice smell, not as rose-like as I expected but still smells good. It also took a few times to get used to the tight feeling you get after rinsing it off your body. Feels more like a bar soap does when you wash it off. Im planning to use this for other things too -- laundry, cleaning products, etc. You cant go wrong with Dr. Bs! About $3 cheaper at Walmart/Target

> 3 dayDr. Bonners liquid soap is the best for your skin. I have used the bar soap version of this liquid soap and it is very good for the skin. I use this liquid soap as a body wash (and the bar soap works great to replace shaving cream). I have been using only Dr. Bonners soaps since early 2004. Before then I was using bar and liquid soaps that contain harmful chemicals and animal by-products (think your dead pet that the local animal shelter sells to cosmetic companies; Google terrible touch me nots). Simply put, Dr. Bonners soap are very mild and smoothing to your skin. Your skin will never feel softer and look better. I have recommended this soap to my nephew who has terrible ache. He has just recently told me that Dr. Bonners lavender soap is helping to reduce his ache outbreaks. I use this soap in conjunction with colon cleanses and liver cleanses which help to flush toxins out of your body instead of forcing them out through your skin. Once I switched over to Dr. Bonners soap, stopped using chemical-based toiletries and did cleanses of my internal organs, my skin cleared up completely. It actually only took one month for my skin to clear up, but then I never had really bad ache. Other Dr. Bonners soaps that really cleared up my skin are eucalyptus and citrus - both are excellent but the eucalyptus is even better for making my skin so soft and clear. WARNING: If you have cats, keep tree tea oil away from them!! I have read that it can kill them. Bottom line: Everything that touches your skin is absorbed into your skin and travels throughout your body via your blood stream. Dr. Bonners doesnt contain any harmful chemicals that will adversely affect your health. FYI - I dont use this liquid soap at full strength. I purchased a 16 ounce squeeze bottle from my local beauty supply store that I fill with 50% liquid soap and 50% water which I shake before each use. That dilution ratio is more than plenty to get the full effect from this liquid soap. You can go with 40% soap to 60% water and it works just as well.

> 3 dayThis soap is perfect! I train BJJ so its important for me to have a soap that really does clean thoroughly yet doesnt dry out my skin. I shower sometimes 3 times a day and Dr Bronners is really gentle on my skin. I have tried so many other Tea Tree soaps but always go back to Dr Bronners. It is also the most reasonably priced!! Great stuff and the liquid is versatile too if you want to clean with it.

Greater than one weekBought for my first cabin camping trip (boil rain barrel pump water to wash dishes in the sink, solar shower bags). Its thinner than liquid hand soap and dribbles a lot as it dispense from the bottle, so consider that in packing and pouring it. Since all the drain water from our kitchen sink was going into a leach field and the water from the outdoor shower at the back of the house into the lawn, it was nice to know that its eco-friendly and bio-degradable. Its impressively effective, cutting grease and cleansing without feeling caustic. It lathered adequately. Heed the warnings that the peppermint essential oil might make more sensitive areas sting just slightly when showering. Since it strips the oils from hair when used as shampoo, consider some form of moisturizing to offset the squeaky clean feel. We used generously and finished a quarter of the bottle for daily dishes (for seven guests over almost a week). Now Im considering trying other scents for cleaning, dishes, and showering at home.

> 3 dayI loooove this product so much! It is honestly the best face wash that Ive ever used and I will be buying the larger size for sure. I have sensitive, oily skin with some mild/severe cystic acne and this wash has helped me so much. It is not super harsh and doesnt leave your face feeling dry which is really great. Ive tried so many medications and washes prescribed by dermatologists and none of them made my face feel as clean as this does. I really like the peppermint better than any other but the tea tree oil is nice too however the smell isnt as pleasant as the peppermint. I do however recommend using this with a facial cleaning brush for best results(theres a great one on vanityplanet.com called the ultimate skin spa that runs for $129.00 but with code TINA you can get it for about $38 (: ) I was really apprehensive about purchasing this after reading that people use it for household cleaning but it is really great for the face and body believe me you will not regret purchasing this.

> 3 dayWhats not to love about Dr. Bronners magic castile soap? Its vegan, fair-trade, biodegradable, and organic. I should say Most of all it works!, but Im admittedly one who is all about the smell-goods; I love the way these soaps smell. Also, It doesnt contain any of those harsh and drying foaming agents. Its concentrated and must be diluted (this stuff will burn your pee-hole and eyeballs, seriously). Dilute! Dilute! OK! A little goes a long way; youll absolutely get your moneys worth. Theres a laundry list of uses for Dr. Bronners and Im always on the look out for new ideas that may benefit me and family. Saying its a multipurpose soap is an understatement. From armpits to dishes, Ive been using this brand for over twenty years. Heres a list (I love lists and will find any excuse to make one) of my favorite uses. Shampoo Body wash A few squirts in the bath (the bottle is nice reading material) Shaving Toothpaste. Peppermint of course. (only in a serious pinch. Its gross, but it works) General purpose household cleaner Laundry soap (again, in a pinch) Soft scrub Dish soap Foaming hand soap Houseplant pesticide (peppermint - It works!) I even wash my car with it! Perfect for travel - its concentrated Perfect for camping - its biodegradable My favorite scents are almond, peppermint and lavender; they smell delicious. My husband likes it when I buy the unscented and add a blend of eucalyptus and peppermint oil. If youve never tried castile soap you really should give it a go. Youll only miss your traditional thick lather at first, but soon realize its a grandeur you can easily live without. Castile soap does lather, just not like mainstream soaps containing additives and surfactants. Dr. Bronners really sells itself. Its a natural, wonderful, high quality soap. At the very least, the incredible scents will make a fan of you. Were All-One or None! *giggles* I love it!
