This worked very well

I was initially really happy with this product. But I was giving my son a bath tonight, it was in the water for a while and the the water no longer running. I watched the degrees gradually come down to a safe temperature, 101. I put my 12 week old baby in the water and his facial expression changed. I looked at the turtle which was now reading 102.7. I’m extremely upset that I trusted this product and could have hurt my baby.

I got this to give my infant a comfortable bath temperature. It worked for a month then it was sporadic in turning on. Here we are less than two months later and the thing doesnt turn on. I dont know if this is a bad battery or poor design. There is no off button so once on it stays on for 30 min. After our 10 min bath it stays on taking the temp of the room. Dont really need that as we have central heat and air so I already know what the temp of my house is. This could be improved with an off button or to only turn on when in water.

Battery was dead when it arrived, which should have been my first clue... When I replaced the battery, the battery cover started to crack when reattaching. I’ve had to replace the battery 3 times since I’ve received it.

It did not work well, actually could be dangerous if your dont keep your eyes on it. It takes a long time to register to temp by then its too hot. Then it did not work, for a temp control that is so important this was garbage, not to be trusted. If its a toy ok but this is suppose to be a safety controlled item.

I bought 2 of these over the last year and each one broke within 4 months. I replaced the batteries and that did not help.

I doubt this duck is accurate because it says that I like my baths at 108 degrees! I feel like that’s a little outrageous.

I got this more for my husband and grandparents than myself. They were worried about making babys bath water too hot or cold, and this little ducky does the job. It has a clear temperature readout, and flashes red if the water is too hot. I have found myself using it quite a bit as well (just to be on the safe side).

Works super easy. The cons after months of use dont work due the battery can no be changed
