Seems to work very well, so long as the batteries are good. They do tend to run out pretty quickly, though, probably since it has a thirty-minute automatic shutoff. Something like ten minutes or even five would have been much more reasonable so as to save the batteries a bit. Having a manual off button would have been good as well. These things aside, its cute and fulfills its purpose.

Only worked for a few baths. Then water got in it and it quit working… but when it did work it worked great…

First one lasted 3 years and he loves playing with it in the bath.

It did not work well, actually could be dangerous if your dont keep your eyes on it. It takes a long time to register to temp by then its too hot. Then it did not work, for a temp control that is so important this was garbage, not to be trusted. If its a toy ok but this is suppose to be a safety controlled item.

This was as described and very pleased with it.

Have used this consistently since purchase!

Update: Excellent manufacturer warranty. The first one we got broke a few months after we got it (see below), but the seller said we could contact the manufacturer and they would help us with a replacement. __________________________ Previous Review: Great while it worked, but broke after about 4 months Its a nice bath thermometer. Really liked the auto turn on feature when you drop it in the water so it made for really easy use. Baby liked playing with it. However, unfortunately, it stopped working and the display starting going on the fritz after about 4 months of daily use. Doesnt seem to be battery related since changing it out didnt fix it. Its too bad that its not very durable, otherwise I would have rated it 5 stars.

Love this item. Had something similar for my babies, so I knew it had to be on the Internet somewhere and, of course, Amazon had it! We use it for every bath and our great-granddaughter loves to play with it! Keeps accurate temperature readings.

We used this for a few weeks and it worked well. I noticed the inside of the screen began to fog and then it stopped working. When I removed the battery cover, there was water inside the battery compartment and the batteries were corroded see photo. I can’t help but think some of the battery acid could have/did make it into the bath water with our child.
