> 3 dayI use if to keep the salt dry in my salt shaker. I live in southern Florida where the humidity is always high. I also use it to keep my fructose sugar dry since it absorbs moisture and these packets keep it dry.

> 3 dayI use these in boxes of books and other things that I like to keep from gaining too much moisture when in storage. They seem to work, but I use about 5 per medium size box.

> 3 dayKeeps my homemade supplement bottles nice and dry inside. Also use them in dried fruit baggies when I want to keep for long term storage. You can make diy desiccant packets using kitty litter but these are cheap and ready to go. Recommended.

> 3 dayI drop these in the spices I carry in my camp kit. Salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and steak seasoning. When the gear is in storage and while I camp, it is subjected to extreme temp/humidity changes throughout Wisconsin seasons. As a result the spices would cake and sometimes even be damp. No longer. I am not quite sure how long they will last, but this pack came with 50 packets and they are cheap enough to toss and replace (each 1g packet comes to $0.14 a piece at my purchase price). If they last 1 full year (the individual packets in use, that is), I will likely just toss and replace them anyway just as preventative maintenance. Used with: TOBWOLF Portable Spice Bag with 9 Spice Jars (Amazon)

> 3 dayI keep my pills in the bathroom like they tell you not to do, and these help make up for that.

Greater than one weekI love this. Its a great price. I make jerky every week and this helps it to stay fresh. I also keep several packets in a box that I keep my heart rate monitor to help it last longer by keeping it dry and to help absorb the sweat.

> 3 dayLove these. I put them in everything to keep moisture Out. From Homemade Beef Jerky. To Teas, and Spices. Electronics, Out of Season Clothes. I will even make a Large Bowl of Salad, throw one or Two in the Bowl. It keeps twice as long in the fridge , without Browning. Just be Super Careful not to accidentally eat one.

> 3 dayWe have needed these silica packs for a while. We dont have air-conditioning & its rained A LOT since last fall.(Texas was in a 7 year drought.) Everything gets wet-feeling inside. These small packs are just perfect for smaller items like salt shakers, herbs, etc. that you dont want in a clump. I even use one or two in shoe boxes.
