Greater than one weekbetter to spend $5 extra dollars on name brand like 3M. The surface of the pad is loosing about 50% of grit/effectiveness after 6-8 laps on the regular aluminum flat part. It looks like only both sides of the pad to about 10% of its thickness have some working skin, once that 10% layer is gone after a few light uses, rest is just almost useless and garbage.

> 3 dayNice price thinkingbok its a deal but the pads do fall apart rather quickly compared to the other brand Im using. These just kind of disappear a lot quicker than expected

> 3 dayWhat was in picture looked like 3m product and from reviews looks like at one time this is what shipped....however, what arrived was what you typically see in the dollar store....totally thin trash!

> 3 dayThis product is self explanatory, used it to clean aluminum to prep it for TIG welding.

> 3 dayThe pads are thinner and less dense then 3m product. Ok for light duty scuffing.
