Ive bought this brand of strut for a few vehicles and so far have not been disappointed with any of them. Ill update my review if something goes wrong, but for now, all is great with these.

Just bought an 02 Grand Cherokee and the hood struts were shot. These fit perfectly and hood shoots up with one finger after its been released. The only tool you need is a flat head screwdriver. An extra person would be good too but it can be done solo (can confirm) as long as you have something holding the hood up.

Bought as replacements and they worked perfectly. Easy to install.

When I release the hood latch, the hood rises quickly on its own with no effort on my part.
