ECCPP Lift Supports Front Hood Gas Springs Shocks 4048 Struts for Jeep Grand Cherokee 1999-2004 Set of 2

Just completed installing these on the hood (front) of my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. Went on as smoothly as I could have dared to hope. Very strong piston action. Engine hood now goes up like a charm. Made a wonderful (and much more safe) difference. I would recommend these to a friend, I would buy again.

Replaced my old ones these popped on easy and it made such a difference. I need to be careful opening my hood now because it nearly flew up into my face the first time I tested after the install. Great product matched the original part well on my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Hood would not stay up. Local parts store wanted $34 for one, not the pair. These were an exact replacement and only took about 5 minutes to install.

The work great, for three years they did not work. It is great to have them, and at a great price.

Just bought an 02 Grand Cherokee and the hood struts were shot. These fit perfectly and hood shoots up with one finger after its been released. The only tool you need is a flat head screwdriver. An extra person would be good too but it can be done solo (can confirm) as long as you have something holding the hood up.

Its worth every dime , very easy to install...
