doesnt fit as advertised hinged from the back not the side like an avalache & it is 2 to long .

Bought this to replace broken center console lid in my 2005 Chevy Silverado Z71 Ext. Cab. It was very easy to install, and made my console like new again. Very pleased with this product.

As of this writing, I have yet to install this product. However, I had to go online for installation instructions. Not happy about that.
