Replacement for one I ordered a few years ago. This new one seems a little too loose and the magnet isn’t as strong, it won’t hold on to the refrigerator like the old one did.

Fantastic idea, as the new Apple TV remote is a bit dainty, slippery, and easily dropped. Part of me thinks that Apple wants their handheld devices to be dropped.

Vraiment bien fait et solide. Le fait d’avoir un aimant disponible est vraiment bien. Ça fait quelques mois que je l’ai et il est en parfaite condition. La petite corde est bien solide et il ne se déforme pas. C’est un bon complément à la télécommande de l’Apple TV

AppleTV may be a great product, but its remote sucks. Its small, its hard to hold and easy to lose. Even worse, the remote is almost impossible to use if you have a parent with even mild Parkinsons Disease. Their tremors do not interact well with a tiny touchscreen surface. As a caregiver you only had one choice: the relatively expensive Harmony Remote with real buttons to push. I saw a review of the elago case, and it was a no brainer for under 10 bucks. Sure enough it worked. My father was able to get a good grip on the made for a Hobbit sized AppleTV remote and with his other hand able to manage the touchscreen. I personally like the added heft and bought a second one for our home unit.

I got the glow model (50% more expensive than the back) for use at night because I figured it would make the remote easier to locate. Unfortunately under normal conditions the case does not visibly glow at all in pitch darkness. If I put it under a bright flashlight it briefly glows. I was not expecting this to glow like it does in the photos but I was expecting at least a faint glow. Case is otherwise well made with a good shape and nice grip.

Looks nice and is functional at protecting the remote from kids who drop it.

I have to flip the top part of the controller to use the touch screen because it holds it down causing it to click on things prematurely

I love it, I think Apple should include this when you buy an Apple TV.
