Theres much good about these but evidently they have a yield issue in mfg and dont disclose it. The agent told me theyre a lot of complaints getting one from elago and suggested ordering from others. The problem is that even other sellers, producers have the issue - with is the case pressing down on the clicking surface so you cant make it click - its already held down. Not wanting to go thru the order/return issue endless times until I got a good one I just made one - I found a piece of non-skid material (rawhide in my case) and stuck it on the slippery back of the remote with dbl-stick tape. No lanyard but the remotes no longer slippery and sits a little proud of the table making it easy to grab. Case closed.

Made the mistake of not buying this immediately. Now my remote is completely shattered after a 3 ft fall onto a hard floor.. luckily with this cover on its still better than it was brand new. In fact you cant even tell the bottom glass is shattered and it much easier to use with the rubber grip, but still doesnt feel anywhere near as clunky as a typical TV remote.

This little case is awesome and you should buy it it’s super cheap and works really well take it for me at fixes all the dumb dumb problems of this remote and is really inexpensive

Our remote was way too sensitive and it would fall out of our hand easily. With this remote skin, both of those annoying problems were solved. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

This case makes the Apple TV remote much easier to use.
