ELEGOO Mercury Plus 2 in 1 3D Printing Wash and Cure Station V2 for Mars Photon S Photon Mono LCD SLA DLP 3D Printer Models

I’m loving the Mercury Plus. Like everything Elegoo does they take a concept and make it better. It has streamlined my cleaning and curing process.

Works as promised.. my only complaint is the basket was twisted and I had to twist it in order for it to even go in the cleaning tank with it was hanging. Minor gripes: *Wish there was a way to turn the beeping off and on.. *As of when I bought it, I couldn’t find any way to order an extra cleaning tank and carousel..

Did a horrible job cleaning, curing took forever. My homemade station took wayyyy less time and was cheaper

I thought I had a good system for cleaning and curing resin prints, but this machine really does make it easier and better. Having things centralized is convenient, and I make less of a mess. The wash tank is very convenient, and the curing light does a better job of curing than my old UV light.

I have been resin printing for a couple of months now. I dislike the cleanup involved and have seen similar machines that were just too expensive. I think this one is definitely worth the $120 price tag. I personally would not pay more than that though. I mostly decided on this because I had been wanting a better washing/curing setup. I was looking at spending around $90 to copy a friends setup when I saw this. It just seemed easier. I use 70% IPA to clean my prints. I have noticed less residue on prints since using this machine. I think leftover residue was caused by my method of shaking and brushing which was just not long enough to reduce white residue. This machine has simplified that, I am able to increase the wash time by pushing a button. I have no complaints about the washing settings. The cure lights also work well. So what do I like about this machine? I think the price is good, (less would be better), results of cleaning are better than my old method, build quality is nice, and it easy to use. Now for things I do not like, which honestly have nothing to do with workflow or how easy the machine is to use, it really is a great machine. The buttons to switch between modes are really loud. Maybe there is a way to turn it down, I have not found that option though. The noise of the machine is not bad when running; however, when the fan starts to spin it makes a high-pitch noise that is really loud before reaching speed and quieting down. I really think for $120 they should have included a second container and one with a better quality lid. The lid works and does not leak, but it feels cheap when compared to the rest of what you get. I think if you are on the fence about investing in one of these and you do a ton of printing like me, just pick one up! You will not regret it.

greatly increased the efficiency in my workflow and cleans the resin off the prints better than I was able to in my ultrasonic cleaner. also freed up a bunch of prep space having both a wash and cure station in the same footprint. side note: the unit I purchased had a pretty deep scratch on the cover, but once I contacted Elegoo, they sent me a new one right away.

Been using it as intended and it works great. 1 year of use now and no problems. I use water in it as well. Some older/newer models use a bearing that can rust if you use water, but mine does not. It uses stainless steel screw and washer and PTFE flanged bearing. A year of use with water and no rust as you can see.

I had been using alcohol in a pickle jar, an ultrasonic cleaner, and a UV light designed for curing nail polish to clean and finish curing my resin prints as I had seen on YouTube. This Elegoo cleaner and UV light system works so much better to give a clean firm surface. I generally leave my prints on the build plate for washing which makes the whole cleaning process a lot less messy. The turntable and columns of UV lights allow a better final cure of more of the print surface.

The only complaint that I have is that I had to tighten and loosen a part multiple times until it worked and spun the cleaning liquid. Based on threads online this is common.

I dont know how anyone can 3d print without this great machine. It makes cleaning and curing so easy.
