Elgato Stream Deck MK.2 – Studio Controller, 15 macro keys, trigger actions in apps and software like OBS, Twitch, ​YouTube and more, works with Mac and PC

I wish I would have waited a little longer as a larger model was just released. Im still playing with it and experimenting with al it can do. There is a lot of need for programming information in order to fully take advantage of its use. So far Im only using mine for camera switching with fades between the cameras with OBS software.

Ich bin vollkommen zufrieden mit dem Streaming Deck. Alles, was ich bisher von Elgato gekauft habe, ist einfach Top. Wenn man Streamen möchte, und das mit guter Qualität, dann sollte man sich die Produkte von Elgato kaufen, kann ich echt jeden empfehlen! Es war zudem sehr einfach, alles einzustellen und wenn ihr ein Streaming Deck kauft, dann würde ich schon die XL Variante kaufen, wer weiß ob man in Zukunft mehrere Knöpfe braucht.

I bought this primarily to use while playing an online game where I can control several other characters. I created macros in the game and use this to trigger the macros. I created little icons to use for each key press so that I can quickly identify what I need to press. I have to say that this works VERY well. It also has many 3rd party apps for it, one of which I use a lot which allows more advanced macros and includes options for short button press vs long press to send different commands to the computer. So this definitely lived up to my hopes for gaming. I can also see how amazing this would be for streaming and other application uses as it provides a easily identifiable array of buttons to press for different actions within your software.

I really wanted to love this. Bought to be able to quickly access functions such as mute microphone in MS teams, toggle camera on and off. Also had it set up to launch applications and webpages. Trouble is that when hitting a button they didn’t always work consistently. Almost hit and miss. A repeat press would maybe trigger into action so not sure whether mine was faulty or they all act like that? Little point in spending so much on a gadget for you to need to do it longhand half of the time. Kind of defeats the object. Sadly returned as didn’t operate consistently enough for the price paid.
