Glued several types of wood and it worked well. Fast drying and glue turns clear when dry

I seem to need elmers for a lot of things all the time! This is great for so many of my projects. Love the size!

I am building a model railroad and am using this glue for many aspects of process. So far I have used over one gallon of this glue to attach large pieces of 2 inch foam to wood tables I constructed and a second layer resulting in 4 inches of foam on top of the wood table tops to reduce train noise and allow for carving out underpasses and bodies of water. The glue is easy to apply with a paint brush and works great. I needed a large amount that I could not find at the big box stores. I also will be using it to glue down ballast on the track. By the gallon price is a big saving compared to the little bottles available at local stores.

I was sent the School Glue verson of Elmers rather than the Multi-Purpose one. But at the end of the day PVA glue is PVA glue and it works for my crafing needs for wargamming and paper mache.

Buy it in the giant container to save money. It works great as an addictive to your slime. It has low odor so it doesn’t compete with the scents you add in the slime. This is the brand to use for great slime. It is nice to have this size around and I put some in glass jars for my crafts. I apply using a paint brush. Just wash the paint brush with soap and water.

Had heard to use glue instead of Floetrol and I am so glad I tried it

I am a quilling artist. I manipulate colored strips of paper, on the edges, in varying designs and patterns. Glue is a BIG deal for my art. I use needle applicators to apply glue to paper and canvas. Strong, efficient adhesion is critical to clean work. The bottle of Elmers that I ordered arrived quickly and without damage. I was surprised to find that the cap simply screwed off. There was no seal or shrink wrap. Once air comes in contact with glue and paints, the clock begins ticking to the expiration. Glue will lose its tackiness and adhesion strength after about 1 to 2 years. Its possible that the product I purchased was sitting on a shelf for a while, unsealed. The glue was much thinner and took the better part of the Dark Ages to dry (gluing paper!). Amazon was very helpful with the return/refund/replace process. I have a new bottle on the way. I seriously hope it was just an old bottle and not a change in the formula. Fingers crossed.
