18-11-2024To try to get the full multi media experience, I loaded the disc onto my Mac laptop, and connected it to the electric piano. But the interactive section - where it is supposed to pick up on what you are playing, still didnt work. So I was left with the music, the audio, and able to follow both through the lessons.

> 3 dayDo you remember when the first PC based training was launched using little video clips and audio files? Things have moved on a lot since then with a rich interactive approach being used by many providers. Unfortunately this isnt one of them and this CD (yes just a CD which comes rattling around in a large box - again just like software did in the old days) is definitely of the old school.

> 3 dayPiano for Dummies is an interesting way to get into learning the piano. It contains a single CD ROM that will play in both a PC and Mac. The Mac installation was very easy and was ready in a couple of minutes from installing.

> 3 dayReally good programming on this, but have to warn the consumer that you need a MIDI keyboard to fully appreciate everything this has to offer. That said, I would highly recommend.

> 3 dayBut this softwares presentation is a bit dated. Using Windows 7 so not sure if this affects display and distortion with full screen view. Content wise, much better than the lessons that come with the keyboard. Worth the price.

> 3 dayI really liked this. It has midi connect ability and as you work through the songs, the tutor informs of how you are progressing. Which wrong notes you played, notes you played too fast or too slow. Mind blowing.
