I like it and used it after surgery. I wish it had less sugar.

I found this product through my Cancer Center Dietician when I was starting chemo and radiation. I was underweight and had to have a feeding tube put in my stomach just in case I couldnt eat or get enough calories and nutrition. I never used the stomach tube but used this drink instead! Along with the Boost which has 530 calories Ive been able to maintain and not lose a lb. during 3 months of treatments! My doctors and dietician are elated that I actually gained some weight and sustained through the treatments using both products. This particular one tastes fabulous and is light not thick and heavy. I highly recommend it for anyone needing the protein and calories because they dont get enough in their daily diet.

I bought these wanting a change from my boost plus drinks but these just don’t have as good a flavor. They’re too chocolatey almost to the point of being bitter. I’ll definitely be returning to my boost chocolate drink

So my grandmother went though cancer treatment and beat stage 4 neck cancer. It was a tough battle but one thing we found after she finished all of her treatments was she was having a hard time eating. The radiation really made her throat tight. So she fluctuates between 98 and 100 pounds. Before her cancer she weighed 120 pounds but we are just happy she made it. Anyways because of her lack of eating her doctor suggested that we try Ensure between meals to help her get what she needs. She says she likes the taste and it’s easy for her to drink. She’s 87 years old and has some strength loss so the bottles can be a bit hard for her to open. If we are not in the room you can hear her pounding the bottle on the table to loosen the cap. I do wish they would sell a pack that had all three flavors so she would be able to enjoy them all without having to buy a full pack of each one.

My son is about 20lbs underweight. These are the only shakes he will drink. He likes the flavor, vanilla is his favorite. He has gained 5lbs this month.

Uodate: 8/4/2022 the ensure has increased $10 in 1 week . Ive been ordering these every week for the last few months and was always $44 . Now its $55. It was snap eligible but not anymore. The company got greedy.Very disappointed this company has increased this product. Such a huge price hike. First time ever drinking ensure or any type of protein shake. Have been trying to gain weight for over a year, went to my gastroenterologist and he specifically told me to use this brand . I got the vanilla and wow it tastes so good. It doesnt fill you up and has so much protein and calories per bottle. It is a small 8oz shake. I started with 1 after lunch for a few days, now I have 1 with breakfast and 1 after lunch and I feel so much better. Immediately after I drink this I feel energized and full of life. I eat healthy but would still feel groggy. These have lots of vitamins and minerals. Especially vitamins d and c. Ive already gained 2 lbs in a week. I eat 3 large meals and 2 of these per day. Im probably going to be drinking these the rest of my life because it tastes good and good for me.
