> 3 dayIncorporates thread and you could download free firmware update to incorporate matter. I was interested in only thread and the price was cheaper than buying the newer version which has matter already updated. Save yourself some cash and get this model and update firmware. Response times seems quicker than outlets i have which do not have thread. Replaced W..o V2.0 recently hacked outlets which the company would not update. Go EVE.

Greater than one weekI have an Apple, HomeKit Smart Home, with a zillion of these smart plugs, and I love them! They work flawlessly for me.

> 3 dayI originally posted that this was a great product and easy to connect and worked very well. Regretfully after one week, it stopped working. Out of the four that I purchased two or not working at all. That makes it a very, very expensive expenditure. I can no longer recommend this brand!

> 3 dayThe setup was so very easy and the integration with homekit /iphone app is also smooth as silk. Works like a champ. When not at home, the on/off switching from the Hope app is immediate.

Greater than one weekI started out with decent smart plugs out there that were around half the cost, but I am slowly replacing them all with these Eve plugs when I can afford to. They support Thread out of the box, will get a software update in December 2022 to make them some of the first devices compatible with the newly-released Matter standard, and are some of the most responsive devices in my Apple Home (HomeKit) setup. The Eve app provides a great detail view of your devices on the Thread network, and offers more color favorites one can save for Hue devices than Apple Home. The power meter is nice, especially on the plug we have an oil heater connected to. My only complaint would be the button to switch them on manually—which is the little light in the upper right corner—is a bit small. I would be nice to have a larger target to press, or at least a little more obvious its a manual switch when guests are trying to power it on.

> 3 dayThe only reason I bought this smart plug is because it has amperage reading. The reading is embedded in their app & not easy to find, but it is there. It would be even better if this plug can use that reading to switch off the plug so that it can be used as overload protection.

> 3 dayI recently measured the following standby power consumption for the HomeKit-only, Thread + Bluetooth Eve Energy Smart Plug & Power Meter using the P3 Kill A Watt model P4400. Off: 0.3 to 0.4 Watts On*: 0.6 Watts *with load, which I measured separately and subtracted to get this result

> 3 dayAlthough pricy, this device is a breeze to install. I purchased it because it supports thread, and works flawlessly in the Apple HomeKit. I can control the outlets with my phone, iPad, or Mac, and they work practically instantaneously. Eve has you download their app to initialize these outlets. Basically you click to add the device, scan the bar code image on the side of the device, plug it in, and the app will add it to your house. A few seconds later the device is up and running. Once connected through the Eve app, they show up automatically in the Apple HomeKit in the designated room. Once installed, you can use your phone or tablet to turn the switch on or off, or set up a schedule of operation. Easy to install and use. Although it is a little pricy at $40 per plug, it does work flawlessly.

> 3 dayIt does function as it supposed to. It is compatible to apple HomeKit. The only problem I have with it is the tiny bit of the Lay one trying to turn on and off all day than that perfect.
