> 3 dayI will always trust EVGA stuff to be of good quality. That said, humans can make mistakes and thats what I blame this on. My EVGA Supernova 850 G5 came today and after checking the contents inside I found that it was missing the SATA cables. Not a huge loss, I mean, it could be worse right? Still, if I was connecting(which I will be later down the line) any extra drives to my new PC outside of the M.2 Ill be using, I will need to get extra SATA cables elsewhere.

> 3 daySeems to offer enough power for the i9-9900K and 2060 Super I just built.

> 3 dayWorks alright. The cables are high quality and long enough to easily reach anywhere in my midtower. However, whenever the CPU / GPU are under load, the power supply just starts whining like mad. My wife got the same model, and hers whines a little less than mine, but its still clearly there. Ill probably still keep it, but I guess Ill just do my gaming with headphones.

04-06-2025So as we know in the Tech industry, bad units are inevitable. Unfortunately, this time I was the on the receiving end of a bad unit. However, I have tried many Suppliers for PC Parts over the years.. and have gotten bad units from the likes of MSI, ASUS etc.. so this being my first from EVGA really was no surprise. Plainly put it happens... period, hardware failure can strike at any time no matter the QA that goes into product testing. With all that being said, Ive owned many EVGA products and this was the first to die within warranty period. (1 month after purchase.) Having dealt with many Customer Service agents in the past I was dreading the long ordeal and what not of getting an RMA. I am pleased to say, EVGA has handled this in the most professional manor! My experience was wonderful, and they have earned themselves a lifelong customer! Awesome job, with your RMA process! Great job with training your techs.

> 3 dayReally good psu but the way they are handled on the shipping side is what causes most people to get a broken one, also you will feel some heat with this one so dont freak out if you are new to a higher watt psu, now easy install everything labeled, now recommend based on what I said earlier about way things are shipped try it before putting in case so you know if its operational if its not very likely it had a rough trip
