> 3 dayIve got the G6 1000w version. If youre researching about psus, this should be your choice. Ive done the research, and most tech forums list this as the highest quality material psu out there. Obviously time will tell if thats true, since you can always get a bad batch. I dont have proper electrical tools to test its capabilities. Im using my PC as my as testing ground, and so far its great.

> 3 dayThis power supply looks better than my old one regardless of if you see it or not. The cables being modular cleaned up my build reducing the clutter. And the all black cables included made a big visual difference from the old mustard and ketchup look.

> 3 dayIt has been a good and reliable PSU with a moderately powerful system (overclocked 5600x, 980 Ti). However, the fan is extremely loud and will turn on based on the power draw, not based on the temperature of the PSU, so whenever for example a game is opened, the fan cranks up to 100% immediately and is extremely loud and can be annoying. In some games, if you open a menu, the fan will slow down a lot, and then back to 100 immediately after closing the menu.

Greater than one weekAll of a sudden PC started crashing due to kernal power error 41 and the fan (for the power supply specifically) started sounding like a jet engine. It may have surged and damaged some of my other components. Found out there is currently a lawsuit ongoing related to this specific PSU... Avoid at all costs if you want a quiet, reliable PSU.

Greater than one week1000W G5 is unbearably loud. Even get a clicking sound when the fan speeds up and there is nothing touching the blades, so noise is from fan itself. Unnecessarily aggressive fan curve and after opening up the PSU found that the fan as well as other components are of lower quality since their switch to a new manufacturer. Get a SeaSonic or Corsair instead unless you get a G3 model or older.
