I bought this as a replacement for my older one which died, a previous model from about 5 years ago. I got 5 years out of my old one so I cant complain. Was just surfing the web and I heard a small sound, everything shut down. This one hooked right up, no issues. Been using it about a month. Happy with the purchase.

Bought this in December of 2020 and just died recently. Just put a new corsair 750w psu in and works fine. So on the point of longevity, this one fails!

This thousand watt PSU worked great for five years then the fan ceased caused the Power supply to burn out. That would have been OK, I would have just replaced it, but it destroyed the motherboard with a power surge before it died!

My minimum level starter build power supply

No issues with the Install and a 3900x overclocked and a 3080ti. The eco mode makes the PSU very quiet and even without ECO mode turned on i havent heard the Fan yet. Any company that is confident enough to put a 10 year warranty on their product tells you that the product is high quality. 2 things not to cheap out on in a PC build. The Motherboard and the PSU.

Good power supply for the value

Turns on, after a second I hear a clicking sound and then it turns off. Defective on arrival. Ill return. I expected better quality from Evga

Its a great PSU, does everything you could want and need. However, when its fan kicks on, it is LOUD. When that fan ramps up, you can hear it from the next room over. Im very conscious on the temps in an air flow focused case. My system is entirely air cooled and with aggressive fan curves in order to keep my temps down. I do a thorough clean of my pc every month. Now with that being the case, my fans are still pretty quiet when theyre cranking while Im putting my pc through its paces. This PSU is so loud to the point its annoying/distracting. Im an EVGA fanboy, but this is to the point where i felt i needed to leave a review. Its too late for me to return it, but Im gonna be doing some research on jonnyguru(which i shouldve done) and find one to replace this. Maybe ill build an htpc where the tower isnt 2 feet from my ear. It works great, just loud. So TLDR, if noise isnt a problem, buy it. If it could be an issue, look elsewhere.

This EVGA PSU is a solid buy. Very happy with it. No surprise, they have a history of great PSUs. It is silent when running under normal operation, which is great too. Fully modular design means no cluttered cables. It also comes with flat cables, and 4 modular VGA cables for newer GPU power connections.
