> 24 hourI bought this Power Supply in conjunction o getting my 3080 for my system. After installing everything and started up my computer it was fine, but when I started gaming it would completely shutdown and lockup until I unplugged the power supply and plugged it back in, I did some research and found that the majority of EVGA Power supply’s Cannot deal with the transient spikes that come from the 30 series Cards and completely shutdown your system with no warning. I recommend getting the Corsair RM1000 for your system or even the RM850 as both do not have issues with transient spikes

> 24 hourMy whole system power draw with everything stressed at the same time max out at 490w yet the fans for the PSU keeps ramping up over light load (playing WoW which hardly stresses the PC)

> 24 hourThe product is a very solid power supply with a more quiet noise and solid cable management. The additional cords allowed for easier cable management and the braided black cables, which ensured the cables didnt cause any of the visual interest in my case to be overwhelmed by the unsightly coloration of grey or other cable colors.

> 24 hourSadly Ive been through FIVE different motherboards (MB) now, all with different failures- and still trying. This PSU though, solid and trustworthy through every MB fail (verified via my PSU tester). It even picked up a MB voltage overload on my old case USB 2.0 front panel (not unexpected given modern USB 3.1 protocol). Prevented the MB from starting up until I disconnected the front panel. Probably saved me a few hundred dollars the first time, well worth its price tag. 750w seems to be the new minimum too. Not just 750w total, but what can be delivered via a single cable (which also individually increases via the total rating). Funny since modern PCs consume less power than they did 10 years ago- but whatever because this PSU works reliably.

> 24 hourI bought this as a replacement for my older one which died, a previous model from about 5 years ago. I got 5 years out of my old one so I cant complain. Was just surfing the web and I heard a small sound, everything shut down. This one hooked right up, no issues. Been using it about a month. Happy with the purchase.
