Not sure if its just a weird Hackintosh thing, but had TONS of coil whine noise in my Hackintosh build. Like I could hear the CPU doing its thing. Almost like an old hard drive head seeking. Swapped it out for a Be Quiet Dark Power Pro 11 and it went away. Never heard in BIOS or any other OS, so something about how MacOS does power management I guess.

I bought this in January and put it into a system in around March of 2021. It worked really well daily up until December 8th of 2021. I tried the tester in various outlets and can confirm that it’s the PSU that failed on me.

Bought used without original packaging, but still works great with high end components. Very quiet under load, fan barely spins up with both cpu and gpu at 100%.

This unit has unbelievably bad coil whine that has been getting worse over the last couple months. Purchase brand new in the Summer, so should NOT be an issue.

My PSU went faulty after three months of use. It kept shutting off randomly and causing my computer to become unstable. It once shut down during a BIOS update and I thought my computer was toast. Luckily, it had survived but it was close. Go with another brand. EVGA PSUs already starting off on a bad foot. Id say go with a Corsair or a Seasonic PSU.

This PSU is a great value, was going to go with one from seasonic with a decent efficiency rating when I came across this one.

Works alright. The cables are high quality and long enough to easily reach anywhere in my midtower. However, whenever the CPU / GPU are under load, the power supply just starts whining like mad. My wife got the same model, and hers whines a little less than mine, but its still clearly there. Ill probably still keep it, but I guess Ill just do my gaming with headphones.

Works great for my first build have had it for about two months, will update if it changes but it seems to work fine.
