> 24 hourIm a Dart frog hobbyist. This small terrarium works perfectly for raising froglets till they are big enough to transfer to a larger enclosure. The best feature for me is the front opening door. It provides easy access to cleaning and feeding.

> 24 hourPerfect for my tarantula. Looks very nice with the wooden 3-d back drop (provided). It sits on my work desk and adds a nice touch of decor to my office. Stella likes it better than her old cage, which was a plastic critter keeper. This is actually about the same size as the cage she was in before. I thought it would be a bit bigger, but thats all on me. Make sure you look at the size if you are looking for something for a pet bigger then a spider, frog or small lizard.

> 24 hourI have a very small, 2 years old, male Kenyan sand boa. He is a rescue and refuses to eat on his own. The pet store I got him from does not feed live mice to their pets and so for about a year and a half this poor guy was forced to eat food to keep him alive. I was given him because he was finally deemed unsellable. He prefers a small cage, being approached from the side and live food. And so began my search for the right cage. I had bought a critter keeper but I only stressed him out by reaching down at him. I then took my hot knife and cut the front out, using tape to keep him in. Not the best but it worked as I looked for a new cage. I searched online and this was the best. I love it! Unlike most of the reviews I read there is nothing wrong with the closing mechanism or any gaps in the door. It is watertight for the bottom part and my only real issue is because of the vent, sand can come up through it and get pushed out. Sand boas like to dig. Overall this is a great tank and Im very happy I spent the money for it! Im not sure if I would recommend this tank only because of how small it is. if someone has a similar situation or keeps bugs then this is definitely the tank you need! This is yet another Exo terra tank Im proud to own!

> 24 hourI put my tarantulas in them, and they are happy. I would never put a reptile or amphibian in there. With top screen off or with front door open, there is too much of an opportunity to lose a pet. 8x8 is smaller than you think.
