> 3 dayIt fits perfectly over my 53 gallon tank. The hinges are good and sturdy. Good quality. I recommend.

> 3 dayUnfortunately my lid arrived damaged. The hinge was broken on one side. However, I went ahead and used it anyhow because I needed one fast. I rescued a bearded dragon in poor conditions and had a tank from them, but it didn’t have a lid and we have cats. Also, I’m not sure which brand this 40 gallon breeder tank was that came with the dragon but the lid doesn’t sit right on it. It works, but not pleasing to the eye.

> 3 dayOk for the money, but the hinge was welded wrong so one sits higher than the other. I had to do a little manipulating to get it to sit flat.

> 3 dayPerfect for our 40 gal breeder tank. My husband and I love that we dont have to take of the entire cover when we want to access our RES turtle. Lifting one side is so convenient. Our UVB light and heat lamp sit perfect on this; Needless to say, I feel assured that the heat lamp will never burn through it. It is slightly bigger than the 40 gal breeder tank but this is not an issue at all as the edges are well design for any cables you may have on the corner even with the little extra room.

> 3 dayBeen using this for a few months now. Its slightly larger than size its intended for, but about 1/2, so it overhangs one side or the other. This isnt a big deal, except that crickets routinely find the escape route. Its fairly sturdy and works well at this point. I have noticed however, a few holes in the mesh, that I can only imagine, happened before I received it and arrived as such, since its only ever been on top of the tank. The holes are small and dont seem to affect the product, so Im not worried about it.

> 3 dayPretty good, There are small gaps near the middle hinges which could allow escapees if youve got smaller inhabitants in the enclosure but it really depends on what youve got in there. If youre working with even a medium sized animal youll be just fine.
