Exo Terra Terrarium Decor Primate Skull

Its tiny way to small for my 2ft python (bought product before purchasing reptile) but still thougt it would be at least a decent size probably great for geckos and other small reptiles also had very sharp edges on the inside

This adds character to any terrarium. My beardie doesnt realize this is meant to be a dead baby skull. He crawls right inside it and enjoys the tranquility of being inside a dead baby head. Perfect for Halloween. Think Ill keep this in his cage all year round though. Apparently my beardie is a psycho. He loves decayed dead babies without the stench!

Or Kingsnake seems to like it. When he was smaller, he would crawl in it but not so much anymore since hes getting too long. Still looks cool in his tank though!

It looks good, but the inside edges where still very sharp from the mold, i assume, so i had to sand down the insides myself. This was a pretty big issue as it was sharp enough to draw blood from my finger by running it along the inside edge. The other thing is i have a full grown king snake and i already was a bit smaller than i thought, but he has a very difficult time getting into the eye and avoids it almost completely now after a few squeezes. it also doesnt have the weight to keep it from being dragged around by a bigger snake. all in all, its fine, but definitely not a permanent addition to the tank. your pet will eventually out grow it, or find it too unstable to use appropriately. Best use i could see is just for enrichment as it has a different texture to other things but then again, there is better enrichment out there. would i buy this had i known all this? no, i wouldnt have. Would i buy this for a smaller snake/pet? not really. itll just get outgrown.

I love this skull. It gives my ball pythons tank a new theme. Very cool. He stays in his skull more than his actual hide.

I hate writing negative reviews but people need to be aware that the inside edges of this skull are KNIFE-sharp. This skull is NOT suitable for animals that would use it as a hide. VERY dangerous.
