Exo Terra Terrarium Decor Primate Skull

The detail and products used to make this skull décor are fantastic! Very lifelike! It also has enough weight to it to support my 4month old Ball Python curling up on top of it without tipping her and the skull over. Make sure you take the measurements into consideration: 6.3 x 6.3 x 5.7 inches. The eye sockets roughly measure 19mm X 15mm (thats 19mm long by 15mm tall). Keep this in mind if youre looking at this for your snake to look badass slithering in and out of the eye sockets! :) In response to others reviewers who say there are a few sharp points on this skull, I personally only found one point on my skull that I deemed sharp enough to needing to be sanded down a bit. I actually just picked at the tip with my nail and didnt need to sand it. Even if I found a few sharp edges I wouldnt deduct stars on this product. This product can EASILY be filed down with a nail filer (or even picked at with your fingernail) to fit your definition of dull.

Dont buy it unless you want to spend an hour and a half sanding down the razor sharp edges inside. Seems like something you would get at the Walmart aquarium section rather than an exo terra product. Disappointed.

My ball python loves this, and uses this for a hide! Great size!

Was really excited to get this for my new leopard gecko, I read reviews and was prepared to do some sanding on sharp edges. There are a lot of edges to get sanded down before she can enjoy it safely; which is why I gave 3 stars, also it arrived with his only tooth broken in half from shipping or was sent that way. The twist tie on one side broke from cardboard box and chipped. Attached pics to show.. Will update once she gets to use for further review....

I love this skull. It gives my ball pythons tank a new theme. Very cool. He stays in his skull more than his actual hide.

Its a great size, and a great piece, but inside and around the edges its really sharp. Its too sharp, really, for my leopard gecko or most other animals. I spent 30 minutes having to file down the sharp edges around the eyes. There was even a 1/4 inch piece I had to really cut off inside one of the eyes that any lizard crawling through would cut themselves on.

I love the way it looks, and seems to be the go to hide for most snake owners you purchase... unfortunately, mine is just for looks because my BP isnt interested in using it.
