> 3 dayHeats in decent time. Isnt too heavy. Doesnt warm the room up. Does have an odd smell when on. Hoping its something that will eventually cook off. Its been a while since I bought, though. I also wish I could close without turning off and not have timer beep

> 3 dayI bought this heat press a year ago and it has been going strong. It works really good opens and closes pretty easy and really simple to use. I gave it 4 stars because I know there are better ones on the market. Like the swing away or some that have automatic settings. But if youre just starting out this is a great one to try with.

> 3 dayThis heat press works well for heat transfer vinyl. It didnt come with any instructions, but I found a video online that explained how to work the settings. I havent tested the accuracy of the heat plate, but the vinyl adheres well to t shirts when set to the appropriate temperature. The pressure knob works well to adjust the pressure for items of different thickness. This press does come with a Teflon sheet, which I dont think was mentioned in the description.

Greater than one weekI’ve been using this press for over a year. I am completely satisfied with the heating performance and value. There are two issues with the product design: 1) it’s difficult to open, especially troublesome safety issue when hot, 2) it slides easily on my table; again, little unsafe when hot—I had to put a rubber pad under the press.

> 3 dayIve had so much fun using this machine. So far Ive done mask, ornaments, t-shirts, and dishcloths. And Ive recently ordered mouse pads, earings, and other items. Images come out nice and crisp. Because it can do so many crafts, the sky is the limit for crafters. Heats up quick too. It is a little hard to clamp down, but Im just your average girl and I can do it. Highly recommend for beginners who want to dabble with sublimation.

> 3 dayI researched heat presses for months, MONTHS I TELL YOU. Took in recommendations from other crafters or see a post on the crafting sites on Facebook. I took a chance at getting this one and I LOVE it!!! When you first turn it on there is a smell but it soon goes away after 2 or 3 uses. I think its what you would call the brand new smell. I love the fact that when your timer is done an alarm goes off to let you know to take the item off the press if youve got your back turned working on other things. When the press is on it will heat an intire room so I would suggest having a fan if youre in a small room to keep the room cool and to keep it away from children. They will reach up and put their hand between the plates to see where the heat is coming from.
