> 3 dayBass is pretty good can get muddy at high volume, sound quality is almost hauntingly clear with the right DAC and flac file. The sound is perfect bass not so much, it’s prominent full meaty, but can muddle at times with bass heavy tracks

Greater than one weekThe Fiio FH7s are Fiios flagships, and they aim at the high-end/Top of the Line IEMs out there. For their price, they offer a stellar value when compared to IEMs that cost $1000+. They look and feel great and come with a bunch of accessories. I was initially wowed by them, but that impression faded with time and I ended up looking elsewhere.

> 3 dayIt sounds okay. I honestly bought it to try to get rid of the annoy static noise from my old Sony earphone. However, I can still hear the static noise when pairing with Fiio Q5s using both 3.5mm and 4.4mm cables. The static noise is more noticeable with a 4.4mm cable. Fiio seems a company that never discounts their product for holiday. I get them for 450USD but now I know you can them for 400USD. The package has a lot of stuff inside. The original ear tips are uncomfortably hard. The included spinfit ear tips are soft and comfortable. Overall well build earphones.

> 3 dayThis has been a hard review to write as my feeling on the product have changed drastically over the time that I have had with these iems. When I first took the out of the box I was blown away by the build quality and feel of these iems. They felt great in the ear and the cord had a lovely braided cabling that was not prone to tangle. So my first impression was all stars and roses as I perused the vast array of ear tips and filters to try out. I left the filter in the default setup and selected the bass tips from the box and set out for my first journey with these iems. It was an unpleasant journey with the overly bright sounds crushing my hopes for the sound of my dreams. This was not just a brightness and harshness but an emphasis on sibilance even at low volumes that bordered on painful. To top this all off the bass was missing from the equation and any attempt to pump up the volume to bring up the levels crashed back into the sibilance problem. So I endeavoured to try the filters everyone was raving about, maybe this would be my golden ticket. So out went the default filter and in went the bass filter in hopes of finding the bass but instead just found more of the same.

> 3 dayFirst off these do sound absolutely amazing once you get a proper seal. Everything everyone says abut how good they sound is true - weighty, clear and very natural sound like decent over ear headphones.

> 3 dayThis easily outperforms the Moondrop Starfield, which at its own price point, is a great IEM.

> 3 daySo much to love about these. Quick hits: great cord. Many earplug options included. Comfortable design. Premium look and feel. Sound. Just amazing. First headphones that come close to the experience of my 2.1 channel. Great lowend authority. Sparkles at the top with an acutly subtle yet a slightly forward mid region.
