FiiO FH7 Headphones Wired Earphones Earbuds in-Ear High Resolution Deep Bass 1DD+4BAs Hybrid IEMs with DIY Sound Filters for Smartphones/PC/Laptop/Tablet (Black)

Anyone reading these reviews is probably heavy into music as I am. I own quite a few flagship DACs and headphones but these IEMs are a steal for their price from a manufacturer that keeps raising the bar on moderately priced audiophile equipment. I am a big headphone enthusiast owning Focals, Audeze, Hi Fi Man and Oppos to name a few. These are my first pair of IEMs and for the price I cant imagine a better grab. So I will just recap what I dont particularly like....that being the fact that as a treble sensitive audiophile, their signature is a bit on the bright side for my complete liking. The enclosed interchangable filters do help tame the highs (ironically the green treble boost gave me the best sound profile) so of course this is all subjective to your listening preference. I also suggest you take the time to try out all the enclosed tips and filters as they make a noticeable difference in my experience. Out of the box the treble was fatiguing IMO, but once I found the right combo of tips and filter (green filter) they definitely smoothed out their sound profile.

Ce casque est un casque très équilibré, des basses bien présentes mais pas trop, des médiums magnifiques, et des aigus bien gérés. Je dirais que son son, pour imaginer, est lumineux, ce qui peut être après une longue écoute un peu fatiguant pour le crâne mais rien de bien grave, c’est le défaut de ses qualités en somme. Pas besoin d’un ampli pour le téléphone portable, ça dépote sans, et largement !! La qualité de fabrication est parfaite, on le sent tout suite en soupesant les écouteurs (lourds), tout est métallique et solide, bien fini, le câble est épais et solide, une multitude d’accessoires (principalement des embouts et des filtres sonores) dans la boîte de rangement. Bref, pour ce prix, on atteint quelque chose de vraiment différent des casques à 200 euros, le son est magnifique, détaillé, homogène. Ce casque est un superbe compromis, et certainement le meilleur rapport qualité prix du marché actuel ! N’hésitez pas.

Pros:

These are not as good as CA Andromedas in terms of sound. Comfort wise I had to return these cuz after a long session my ears were hurting (your experience may differ). These by all means do not sound bad, but lack that sparkle and sound separation the campfire Andromedas have. sound desperation is still pretty decent, and if you plan to use these for gaming like Valorant, I found these were really good for footsteps and imaging. i would have honestly kept these if they were more comfortable, but none of the eartips worked for me.

Sounds amazing outclassing even my full headphones (HD 650, Hifiman 400i). I had a pair of IKKO OH10 that died and was looking for a replacement, decided to give FiiO a chance and they did not disappoint. I can wear these all day with no comfort issues, the FH7 comes with an assortment of Nozzles and Silicon Ear tips.

Ive been using the Fiio FH5 since 2018, which are great IEMs for the price, and the FH7 is a noticeable upgrade. The jump from a 10mm dynamic driver to a 13.5mm dynamic driver makes quite a difference to the bass texture. Bass extension is just as low as the FH5, but more defined and less artificial. I used quotes there because the FH5 bass doesnt sound artificial; the FH7 just sounds less artificial. Im not great at describing sound, sorry.
