Even though I followed the directions as outlined, I have found that these filters only make the water tastes good when water is cold. At room temperature, the water tastes metallic and not so clean. I will not be using nor recommending these filters. I would have returned the product but the return period had ended. I gave the stars for the packaging and filter concept because they are brilliant design but the product itself did not meet my needs.

Love my Clear Genius pitcher. The water I pay dearly for is literally not fit for drinking (per the water company!!! - I live rurally) and the first time I changed the filter I was horrified to see the schmutz the filter had caught. Its doing its job for sure. Im very pleased with my Clear Genius system and love three fact that Im not throwing away non-degradable plastic every time I dispose of a filter.

This is a great water pitcher. I wasnt worried too much about chemicals in my water, it gets tested yearly but I do have some rust and there is a smell that I dont like. With this pitcher the water is crystal clear and has no aroma and tastes great. I like the environmentally friendly reusable cartridge and the cartridge fits better than with other pitchers Ive used where the water leaks around the opening. Its a great price, great customer service and I would buy this again for sure.

We are still using this product and continue to use it. Makes a huge difference in taste and smell. Our pups love the taste of this filtered water when it comes nice and cool in their water bowl.

Makes filtered water even better. Texas Hill Country has hardest, mineral rich water anywhere. Filtration is a must. Even though my home has a purifying unit, I have always used a Brita pitcher. Brita filters do an okay job. Clear Genius is several steps up. The water actually tastes fresher. Takes longer to filter, but worth the wait .

These filters give the water a chemical taste that is disagreeable. Will not repurchase. Good idea to recycle the plastic holders and only replace the filtration material but it is a fail in my opinion. I never experience this with the Britta filters but they do add more to the landfill.

Love these I just wish stores sold these like they sell the pitcher these are made for. I went to publix which is where I purchased my clear genius pitcher to get some new filter cartridges and there were none! And Ive been there a thousand times s in nce and they just arent sold in stores unfortunately but I believe this is Amazons brand of filtering water pitcher.
