> 3 dayI have tried 4 or 5 different filters and this is the first that holds up, strong, wire mess and this is important as the others have a thin strip of cardboard and after about 3 weeks they end up expanding towards the fan. The Filtrete 16x25x1, AC Furnace Air Filter, MPR 1500, Healthy Living Ultra Allergen lasts and worth the money as it lasts 3 times longer.

> 3 dayThese filters appear to be solid, with the wire protection on both sides. They capture what youd expect from their MPR rating, and do not seem to degrade the air pressure. I just wish they were individually wrapped and perhaps a little less expensive.

> 3 dayThis filter works so well. I’ve been using it for years. It really cuts down on the dust in my home, along with the other heath benefits it touts. You might find that you need to change to a new, clean filter more often, though, as this version really does trap airborne gunk. Recommended.

> 3 dayI have been very happy with these filters but ran into an issue this winter. At about 10 weeks it started restricting airflow to the point that the furnace shut down on over temperature. A new filter fixed the problem but I was mystified at first. I like them because they are sturdy and have a great rating for filtering small particles. I don’t know why it got restrictive before it was changed at the 3 month interval normally used.

Since we started using these filters I find that they last double the amount of time than the filters I used before (now lasting 2 months) and my husband gets less allergy attacks - big win in our home!
