Does not help concentrated odors. May be of limited value for vague/faint smells.

I have a home office and during most days my dogs keep me company while I work Especially in the winter when the house is closed up, it can get a little eau du dog in there. Ive tried Febreeze and air fresheners and just about everything, but nothing really took the odor out of the room until I tried these filters. In a matter of hours the smell of dog funk was absorbed right out of the air. Now I leave the fan on re-circ all the time and the air in the office has never smelled fresher!

this filter is sprayed with some kind of flaking covering. after a few purchases, i felt like it was flaking into my air and ductwork. i thought it was just a grey fabric but it’s not. it has a sprayed on coating that flakes off. i felt like i was having trouble breathing so changed and i feel better.

These are amazing. In my apartment, the air intake is right by the guest restroom, so the smell of poop spreads throughout the place. Since installing this filter, I havent smelled a thing.

Filtrete filters are always a great buy & product. Use according to your filter need.

Would have been great but packaging the Coke 12 packs with the filters, crushed the filters. I can still use them but tell the Packers this did not work

I change these filters every thirty days due to dog hair and fine dust with remodeling. The really keep the dust down as well as pick up dog hair in the large filter area in the ceiling. You would be amazed by the hair that is actually in the filter. The odors are also reduced. since I have asthma they are excellent in keeping the dust and hair in check.
