I’m no expert when it comes to these things so there was a little learning curve as far as how to hold it and get the right Tinder. Once done, we got a good little fire going. Really fun to learn with.

Works well, and makes spark. the whistle is very loud.

Starter came in right on time for a trip I have. I tried a few times. Sparks fly with this one. I once had a cheaper one. And I guess you get what you pay for. It took two strikes and it had a fire in no time.

Really does work! Can get a fire started in minutes! Great as a gift for someone who likes outdoors! Probably buy a couple more just to have some backs ups. Looks just like pictures!
