Greater than one weekLove it. The cable is too short and after reboot Windows 10 doesnt recognize it, so I have to unplug and plug it back on login screen. There are no real drivers from Ajazz for Windows 10. The main reasons why that I got this keyboard was because it has a small footprint with the function keys pretty close. Even though I still use the solid lighting feature, I sometimes use the other rgb lighting modes just for fun.

> 3 dayI had been looking for a mechanical keyboard for some time, trying to find something that isn’t too expensive but also isn’t of cheap quality. I was a bit skeptical of considering affordable mechanical keyboards because maybe the quality would not be great. This brand popped up several times during my searches, and I thought I might as well give it a try. This is my first mechanical keyboard, and I’m obsessed! I didn’t want to spring too much for my first mechanical keyboard, so the price and quality for this one is great. And the light settings are SOOO COOL! I could not wipe the smile off my face for how impressed I was by all the light settings. Definitely a great keyboard, whether it’s your first or not. It’s a great compact board which is easy to move around wherever you need it to be, or just so it doesn’t take up too much desk space. Plus it has a removable cable which is a plus for the compactness it offers. Really cool for its price and definitely not a knock off quality.

> 3 dayBest mechanical keyboard Ive had. The blue switches feel exactly like cherry, and there is no stickiness or cheap feeling. The space bar is supported so it registers no matter where you press it which is a common problem for this price range. The RGB leds have different modes, like a wave effect, solid colors, or raining effect, and can be changed to different colors in each mode. I would have given this 4 stars due to its manual being in an unfamiliar language, but the key caps gave such clear instructions that it didnt matter. Thank you so much for a near perfect keyboard!

> 3 dayThe Ajazz AK33 is a 75% form factor mechanical keyboard with addressable RGB Zorro Black key switches, plastic case and aluminum top plate. For having a plastic housing there is very little flex which i attribute to the fairly thick aluminum top plate. This case is a low rise case so switches and lighting are visible from the side. Despite being a very light construction large rubber pads make this keeb very hard to slide on your desk surface. However due to being a lightweight construction where the only mass is in the top plate, this keyboard does sing quite a bit. Keystrokes will ring through the toplate. I o-ringed my alpha keys and that helped mildly. The key switches are Zorro Blacks but do not think these are Cherry Black clones. They remind me of Gateron optical yellows, slightly lighter in actuation weight than a Cherry Red, but also a higher actuation. If you are used to heavier or tactile switch this will result in accidental key presses initially. These switches are not the smoothest but are comparable to stock gaterons or outemu switches in smoothness. The lightness of the switches make this board a delight for gaming but not so much for long typing sessions. The big pitfall of this keyboard in my opinion are the keycaps. They appear to ABS and are VERY thin, they are slippery, and the legend is subpar at best. A new set of key caps would really make this board delightful to type on however the esc and delete key are 1.5u, and the end key is 1.25u rather than standard 1u which makes shopping for a set very unenjoyable. The non standard layout takes minimal time to adjust to in typing. Lastly the part this board does right, lighting. Colors are vibrant, distinct, but not harsh or distracting even when shoved up under my monitor on my small work space. The patterns are fun and you can individually address each key, however the software to do so is VERY clunky and poorly optimized. For the price and the feature set I do really like this keyboard and would recommend it to someone if they are in the market for a compact layout keyboard with RGB and are not looking for hotswap switches.

Greater than one weekI love this keyboard. Ive never owned a mechanical keyboard, so I bought this one to test it out. I didnt expect to like it as much as I do. It feels really great to type on. It seems like good quality and sturdy too. Typing can sound a bit loud, but I think thats expected for this type of keyboard.

> 3 dayPros/Cons and TL:DR at the bottom. I got this for my boyfriend since he prefers keyboards where the F keys and number keys are close together or lined up, easier on his hands for long gaming sessions. Shiny lights, black switches he likes, seems like a nice price... Awesome, right? Until we plugged it in and tried to use the software suggested by the company in the Q&A right here on Amazon (Since nothing came with it except a two page poorly translated list of key commands to change the design of the lights). The program wouldnt recognize the keyboard, so we decided to try and restart to see if that would help. The PC got laggy, very slow startup only to not boot windows. Okay. Not panicking. turned it off, let it sit a bit, got it started up properly the second try. Still slow. Ran a virus scan, all clear. Checked the software again, still not recognizing the keyboard. **After a few hours of googling and searching, we came across a reddit post saying that some of these keyboards are NOT COMPATIBLE with the software. The way to tell which keyboards are compatible is to check under the spacebar (checking the color of the PCB) if it is BLACK, it is compatible. If it is orange or another color, it is NOT COMPATIBLE with the lighting software and uses a different firmware. We got a keyboard with a orange PCB. This is why you buy Razor or another name-brand option.. You get what you pay for, so to speak. Why are these keyboards being sold when they arent even compatible with the software to customize them?** I have nothing against foreign made products, but this software problem is garbage. This keyboard has the logo to the RIGHT on the space bar, NOT directly under the middle mark, so it could be a knockoff like other reviews were warning of, but I cant really confirm that as this is the only one weve purchased. The keyboard itself feels solid, the keys feel like proper black switch keys, I like the compact design. Its a good keyboard without the light problem. Pros: -The keys feel good to click, exactly what Black switches should feel like. -The weight of the keyboard is nice. Solid enough for consistent desktop use, also light enough with a compact size to travel with for infrequent traveling. -The design is nice for smaller hands/not getting fatigue during long sessions on games. -The keyboard appears brightly lit with the basic green color it came with. -It came with a brush to clean the keyboard with and a little keycap remover. Cons: -The software suggested for use to change the colors on the keyboard is not compatible with the keyboard sent to us.. Kind of defeats the purpose. -You can only filter through 8 basic colors and a handful of styles like breathing lights or flickering etc without the use of an external software downloaded, and it still may not be compatible. -No instructions other than a poorly translated 2 page booklet on how to cycle through the pre-loaded colors. TL:DR The keyboard is a solid keyboard for the price point if you dont want the custom lights. If you are fine with basic blue, red, green etc and dont plan on using the software to customize the lights, buy this and give it a shot. Good keys, sturdy feel, but the keyboard not being compatible with the lights software is a deal breaker for us and we will be returning it.

> 3 dayI dont normally do reviews of tech products but, this keyboard is a steal at 45 dollars. Pros 1. The RGB reflects really well off the aluminum plate that is under the switches. 2. The aluminum plate give it a premium looks and also provides some rigidity. 3. The software is very easy to use, which I recommend because you can make youre own color themes. 4. The Keyboard comes with detachable micro usb cord, which makes it easy to switch keyboards if you have multiple ones. 5. The switch tactile feel is very satisfying to press as I am using the black switches. Very light press Cons 1. The key caps feel a little cheap because they are abs plastic. My guess this was to save on production costs. If unsatisfied replace them with PBT caps instead. 2. To resolve this, I would recommend buying rubber dampeners as this will help with the keys overall fell. Why this is a con, you have to buy another 7.99 worth of o rings. 3. the delete key is on the far right corner which is very easy to hit if you are trying to use the Backspace key. I would recommend this keyboard for someone getting into mechanical keyboard, as it would make a great leap into this niche product.

> 3 day10/5/17 update: Im returning this. Today, the caps lock started getting triggered randomly despite my active avoidance of the caps lock key. And when it happens, the caps lock LED doesnt even turn on. As I use vim every day, this is very annoying and a hindrance to productivity. I regret cheaping out and will be purchasing a keyboard made by a reputable manufacturer. I bought this on a last-minute whim. Ive been eyeing the Razer BlackWidowTournament Edition for some time, after purchasing the Razer Mecha-Membrane keyboard not too long ago. I like the Mecha-Membrane, but it is a little too large to carry around on an everyday basis, plus I dont need a number pad for everyday usage. Pros: + The price point is good. For $50, you get a really nice-looking keyboard. Ive looked for other RGB compact mechanical keyboards but the ones I saw were either flooded with fake reviews or were poorly reviewed, which didnt inspire a lot of confidence. + The lighting effects are almost as nice as the Razer I have, but with the advantage of being able to change the effect without installing additional crapware. No offense to Razer or its fans, but I hate that you cant even (to my knowledge) cycle through the lighting effects without installing Synapse. For more complex and custom effects, I totally understand why Synapse would be required. + A keycap puller and brush are included. Cons - The keycaps are terrible! The ones on the end especially will fall off if you even look at them funny. Whenever I put this into my bag, I almost always have to scoop up the keys that got knocked out of place and put them back where they belong. The keycap puller is basically unnecessary because the keys are so loose. If theres any potential dealbreaker with this item, it would be the keys (more on that below). - The instructions are all in Chinese. I didnt have much trouble figuring out how to cycle through the lighting effects, control audio on my work machine (a MacBook Air), or adjust the brightness on the keyboard. But it still would have been nice to have instructions with more English than just the name of the product. - Very little pressure is required to actuate each key. Admittedly, this could be either a pro or a con, depending on what youre looking for. But so far for me its been a significant con. Overall, based on my initial impressions, Id give this 2.5 stars, but I rounded up. Between the softness/squishiness of the keys and the loose keycaps, Im on the fence about whether to return this. I will give it a chance because there are quite a few things I like about it and Ive not even had it a full day. I may try getting some different keycaps, but from reading the answers to questions about replacing them, it seems that would only be a partial fix because not all of them are standard-sized. The worst offenders (the esc and delete keys) are not standard-sized and therefore would not be possible to replace (see: https://www.amazon.com/forum/-/Tx38PWXL2JXJRXF/ref=ask_ql_ql_al_hza?asin=B01JG37496).

Greater than one weekWonderful keyboard for taking along with your laptop. I have three mechanical keyboards with Cherry Blue switches but they are full-size. I bought the Ajazz to carry with my laptop because, though I can use a laptop keyboard, I dont like it as much. This keyboard is quite nice for the price. though it is full scale on the alpha-numeric side, its quite a bit tighter on the sides. Reaching for the arrow keys is a huge change. I have a picture of it lined up with my Ducky Shine 5 RGB keyboard for comparison (See pics). It does come with a tiny two-page manual in English, and thats all you really need. Aside from some obtuse English phrases like... Thanks for choosing Ajazz AK33 RGB Mechanical Keyboard with amazing and multifarious lighting effect, hope it can bring you brand new playing feeling. It is a good manual. Though, I havent yet found the. multifarious setting; or even figured out what that means. Its a very high quality keyboard with a metal top plate. The shiny plastic under-cover is kind of ugly though and Im sure will get quite scratched up in my backpack. The key switches are very nice, but not quite as nice as the Cherry Blues. I can only really tell when I have both keyboards side by side and go back and forth to test them. This is a very nice portable keyboard to use when you are mobile. The only things Id change is a textured, matte finish on the underside, and Id add a USB3 hub in it, with two external USB3 ports on each side (maybe make one of them a USB-C port). Thatd make it a superb professional mobile accessory, Id pay $100 for.

> 3 dayThe whole keyboard is very nice. The layout is perfect for me, as I like a small keyboard, but enjoy having the function keys. The material used is very nice, although the key caps are ABS plastic, this is fine considering its price. The blue switches are nice and clicky and are similar to the cheery MX switches. The lighting is very fluid on it and there are a ton of modes. My only gripe about it is that it was a bit hard for me to find the software for the board, and its not in English. Other than that, great board and I would buy again.
