The RGB version of this keyboard is first and foremost beautiful. Its the best looking keyboard there is, except for the cheap glossy plastic bottom casing that is. Why do I say this keyboard is just okay? Well the typing experience is unfortunately very mushy, with key activation long before you fully depress the key and uneven resistance for different keys. I would have preferred greatly this keyboard with a switch that gave some physical and audible response when the key registered a press like my comparable Zhuque mechanical keyboard that is in the same price and size class as the AK33 and has much better build quality. But the truth is, I dont want to use the Zhuque over the Ajazz, the problem is I feel I have too because its simply a better keyboard, though unfortunately its not nearly as fun or attractive. The AK33 has the most beautiful LED implementation of any keyboard Ive ever seen. This kind of RGB spectrum is not something you get at this price range and is certainly not what I get with the Zhuque. Comparable keyboards have fixed LED lighting schemes per key or row of keys while the AK33 is a beautiful lighting display of animated colors. What would make this the ultimate keyboard for me? First the switches. Zorro switches are mushy and unresponsive, whereas the blue switches in my Zhuque are clicky and springy. Second the quality of the keycaps and the casing. Ditch the cheap plastic in favor of brushed aluminum and more textured, heavier keys. When my board arrived, I found loose keys in the box and that is because these are very loosely fitted to the switches and can be pulled off with ease, could be improved. Last the right shift button is awkwardly small, leaving you prone to miss pressing when typing. If these issues were fixed Id give it a 5 out of 5. As it stands Im going to use my Zhuque and mod the AK33 into light display art for my desk. **EDIT** After some time Ive switched from the Zhuque to using the Ajazz. As you can see in the photos, Ive gone through the modding process, spending 20 hours meticulously sanding the top layer of paint off of each key on the keyboard allowing the light to come through the tops. Its beautiful and its more than just a keyboard, it is a centerpiece, its an art display. Yes this does make typing harder, because I assume like most I have memorized typing through muscle memory but would struggle to point at each key and tell you the key its for. What makes this keyboard hardest to type on is the tiny right hand shift key and I find myself pressing all the wrong keys trying to use it for symbols such as (:?}{><) That is not to say I cannot type on it, I consistently got over 100 wpm on type racer today and a high of 128 wpm. I think if you want a cool keyboard that isnt the most practical keyboard, buy the Ajazz and mod it to make the most of its RGB lighting because it is hands down the best you can find anywhere.

Im writing this review on this very keyboard. Im very pleased with the product overall. The build quality is solid, and the switches feel high quality. The Zorro Black Switches are a little heavier than the Cherry MX Reds, and they feel a little more springy, but they feel amazing for gaming. The keyboard comes with a very respectable amount of preset lighting modes, with the option of downloading separate drivers and software to customize the RGB lights even further to your liking. Ive done quite a bit of gaming already on this keyboard and it feels superb. What makes it even better is the price tag. Im liking it so much I might buy a second unit with Blue Switches just for typing. In the box youll get another nicer box, in which the keyboard is contained with softfoam to protect while shipping, a plastic ring keycap puller, a softbrush to keep your keyboard clean from dust, and instructions. Before making this purchase I made a lot of research, and out of all my options the AK33 won because of its aesthetics, detachable cable, inclusion of function keys and media functionality, floating key design and its aluminium plating. I absolutely recommend this keyboard. Its small form factor makes any desk a lot less cluttered, and allows gamers more space for using their mouse. If theres anything I really didnt like about it was the glossy plastic used at the bottom, but that is not normally visible so its not a dealbreaker.

This is a really great keyboard. I use it mainly for my laptop, but also have used it on my desktop, now and then. Overall, I have no issues with the quality of the keyboard, but my other half likes the feel and look of it also. That means she wants it. So I guess I might be in the marketr purchase soon.

I got this keyboard sort of as a place holder until I decided to get a $100+ keyboard. Once I received it and started using it my mind changed. Of course, since this is my first real mechanical keyboard I dont even really know what to expect. This thing feels really great though. I got the black switches and this is my first time trying any mechanical key and I love it. It feels WAY better than any of the chiclet keys I have used in the past and it sounds much more satisfying. The black keys arent too loud and they sound pleasant. They dont sound all clicky and obnoxious like the blue keys at all and thats kind of why I wanted them. I also enjoy the straight down button presses. I cant believe Ive been missing out on mechanical keyboards all my life. I should have bought one since I got my first computer because it really makes using your computer way more fun to use. It seriously improves the gaming and typing experience. And only for $40. I probably wont be getting anything more expensive until this thing just breaks or something because the AK33 is actually a pretty good keyboard IMO. Its nice when you buy inexpensive things and they turn out to be really good value. The only thing I have noticed I dont like so far is I sometimes hit PgUp key when trying to backspace. I think thats more of a me problem though. Something I will have to get used to with time. Im used to the backspace being on the very edge, but on this layout, you have Home, PgUp, PgDn, End on the very edge. Really good keyboard. Nothing wrong with it from what I can tell in my few days of using it. I totally recommend the black switches. They feel great on this guy.

I dont normally do reviews of tech products but, this keyboard is a steal at 45 dollars. Pros 1. The RGB reflects really well off the aluminum plate that is under the switches. 2. The aluminum plate give it a premium looks and also provides some rigidity. 3. The software is very easy to use, which I recommend because you can make youre own color themes. 4. The Keyboard comes with detachable micro usb cord, which makes it easy to switch keyboards if you have multiple ones. 5. The switch tactile feel is very satisfying to press as I am using the black switches. Very light press Cons 1. The key caps feel a little cheap because they are abs plastic. My guess this was to save on production costs. If unsatisfied replace them with PBT caps instead. 2. To resolve this, I would recommend buying rubber dampeners as this will help with the keys overall fell. Why this is a con, you have to buy another 7.99 worth of o rings. 3. the delete key is on the far right corner which is very easy to hit if you are trying to use the Backspace key. I would recommend this keyboard for someone getting into mechanical keyboard, as it would make a great leap into this niche product.

This 82 key 75% keyboard is, imo, a nice little piece of gear. I replaced a Blackwidow Ultimate with this, and am so far really happy with it. Ive got an RGB mobo and case fans, and while I dont have them strobing all over the place, its nice to change my color scheme to suit my mood or game Im playing. Im not so into keyboards that I need specific keypads or switches. This is nice and clicky, and can function just fine as a tiny form factor board with no lighting, subtle accents, or a vomit of rainbows. The pre-made modes are nice without drivers, but the software makes it really cool to make your own profiles. The software is in mandarin, but its fairly easy to figure out. It would also make a great travel board. It is fairly loud, but thats what I wanted. Im sure those with Filcos or Topres will look down on this as a cheap gimmick board, but its really just as functional, for me, at a fraction of the price. As always, try it and send it back to Amazon if you dont like it! One thing to note: 5-7 day shipping for this is actually a dollar more expensive than a month of PRIME, so its a better deal to just get prime and get it faster.

BLACK LINEAR SWITCH STYLE I bought this keyboard after I became sick of using a full size layout, and wanted to save some desk space. The keyboard to be replaced: a full size big brand mechanical keyboard. After receiving this keyboard, my first impressions were very positive. It was well packaged, on time, and without damage. In the pictures, I have added my own keycaps which do not come with this keyboard. The layout is great, although it should be mentioned (illustrated in attached pictures), there are specific keys that will NOT be compatible with a STANDARD replacement set of keycaps. Those keys: (left side): Esc, Delete, and (right side): Control, Shift, End, and the 4 arrow keys. The esc and delete keys are normally the size of one normal key, or 1u--on this keyboard, they are the size of two normal keys, or 2u. The up, down, left, right, and end keys are normally 1u, on this keyboard they are 1.25u (or the size of control, windows, or alt keys). The right control key is normally 1.25u, here it is 1u. Last but not least---the WEIRD shift key. It is normally 2.27u, but here it is much smaller at 1.25u. Are you confused yet?! I couldnt find this information anywhere before I ordered it, so there you go if you are curious. If you buy a standard keycap set to replace the shiny ABS black plastic keycaps this comes with, you will have to buy a set and then extra blank keycaps that match the row of the one youd like to replace. Ex: if I wanted to replace the right side control key, I would have to buy a blank keycap of R1 aka the bottom row. The only other complaint that I have: the bottom of the case, even though it has rubber feet is still very slippery on my wooden desk. Surprisingly enough, a bit of saran-wrap did the trick and now it doesnt go anywhere. The LEDs are just plain fantastic. Since the manual (at least the one that came with my keyboard) is not in English, I looked up a tutorial online and easily found out how to cycle through them all. Holding Function + F8 will change the pattern---breathing, static, etc. Function + right or left arrow will change the color. Function + up or down arrow will adjust the brightness of the LEDs. Its very easy. I didnt install any additional software, and havent found a reason to so far. The black switches are very nice. I prefer them greatly over the standard clicky mechanical switch thats typically used for gaming. The difference is: there is no tactical bump or audible click. The bump happens when the key actuates when you press the key. Instead, the black switches are linear--they are smooth, not nearly as noisy, and are very comfortable to type on. However, this is very much a personal preference, and you should consider whats best for you. For example, the blue switches will annoy your coworkers as they are quite loud, so do NOT buy that style to bring to the office. And with that--I think thats it! I really love this keyboard and may purchase another to take with me along with my laptop. Its small enough for travel which is greatly appreciated. You truly cannot buy another keyboard with the RGB features and build quality for a better price elsewhere. If you were on the fence and about to buy a keyboard from whatever major brand at 3-4 times the cost---I would greatly suggest you buy this one instead. I dont miss the numpad enough to go back to a fullsize keyboard.

This compact keyboard is amazing. The light show is soothing and really cool to watch when you arent using the computer. The keys respond beautifully to just the right amount of pressure. The only thing to keep in mind is that this keyboard is really loud. I wouldnt consider using this in a cubicle or if your spouse is planning sleeping while you work. Other than that, its perfect if you want a keyboard with very little desk real estate taken. Just remember there is no numeric pad to the side, so its not for everyone.

This review is not based on long term usage but first impressions and observations about this device. For one it is a keyboard, that is years ahead of any standard cheap rubber dome equivalent. Typing on one of these will be an overall upgrade if youre new to the game of mechanical keyboards. They feel great, if youre not nitpicking. I purchased the Zorro Blue switch model of this keyboard, and out of the box as stated above they have a great feel to them if youre not trying to find their flaws and faults. There is an inconsistant actuation force between some of the keys, if you slowly press them down you will detect it but when jamming your fingers into the keys its completely unnoticeable as most people use more pressure then necessary when typing anyway. If you are a professional that touch types and uses higher quality switches this board will drive you mad in a negative way, for a gamer and average person probably not as much. Someone compared these switches akin to something like Cherry MX Browns, and they wouldnt be completely off base. They are a lighter feeling switch then Cherry MX Blues. I personally feel they are closer to Cherry MX Reds, with the click and sound profile of blues. When the key is held down you can reactivate without a click and even from resting position they feel very light and similar to Reds. I honestly dont have much good to say about them from a nit picky pov. They are functional~ The aluminum plate of the board is sturdy, fairly heavy even with its black plastic base. The keyboard does not move around at all, and you really dont notice the base ever despite being an ugly shiny black. The RGB lighting is absolutely gorgeous if that is your thing, and has enough modes and settings even without software to keep it current to any lighting style you desire for your rig overall. I dont find that to be an important bullet point for me, but I was rather impressed when I plugged it in. This keyboard is a work of art. The layout of this keyboard is a bit strange at first but for myself I wanted the function row to be close to the number row. Essentially being an extra row of keys for games that are easy to press. It definitely doesnt disappoint in those regards. The important aspects of the keyboard are all standard layout with the Escape key being the only one that is oddly shaped. While the other functions are squeezed in nicely. If youre a heavy MMO gamer and use the function keys as I do often having them layed out like this is a god send. Asides from that, with a soldering gun, and some solder you can easily mod this board and throw in a better switch (like MX Clears). Which is something that I definitely intend on doing in the future. The layout of this keyboard, and just functional nature of the switches will make it my daily driver. Modding will elevate it to amazing~
