> 3 dayThe material quality couldve been better but for the price it was 100% fine. Only thing I dont like is the ajazz logo printed on the space bar. I understand you have to brand a product but try to make it more subtle. Other than that, its great keyboard for the price and would highly recommend.

> 3 dayIve only had this keyboard for a few days, but I can safely say its fantastic. I havent had a chance to test this out while gaming yet, but for writing and all around basic keyboarding tasks it works perfectly. Not too loud, but not too quiet either - the clicking is just right. The lighting on this keyboard is beautiful, it feels great to type, and the compact size makes for a much better fit on my desk compared to a traditional layout. All around, this Ajazz product is very much worth the price and then some, from what I can tell so far.

> 3 dayBLACK LINEAR SWITCH STYLE I bought this keyboard after I became sick of using a full size layout, and wanted to save some desk space. The keyboard to be replaced: a full size big brand mechanical keyboard. After receiving this keyboard, my first impressions were very positive. It was well packaged, on time, and without damage. In the pictures, I have added my own keycaps which do not come with this keyboard. The layout is great, although it should be mentioned (illustrated in attached pictures), there are specific keys that will NOT be compatible with a STANDARD replacement set of keycaps. Those keys: (left side): Esc, Delete, and (right side): Control, Shift, End, and the 4 arrow keys. The esc and delete keys are normally the size of one normal key, or 1u--on this keyboard, they are the size of two normal keys, or 2u. The up, down, left, right, and end keys are normally 1u, on this keyboard they are 1.25u (or the size of control, windows, or alt keys). The right control key is normally 1.25u, here it is 1u. Last but not least---the WEIRD shift key. It is normally 2.27u, but here it is much smaller at 1.25u. Are you confused yet?! I couldnt find this information anywhere before I ordered it, so there you go if you are curious. If you buy a standard keycap set to replace the shiny ABS black plastic keycaps this comes with, you will have to buy a set and then extra blank keycaps that match the row of the one youd like to replace. Ex: if I wanted to replace the right side control key, I would have to buy a blank keycap of R1 aka the bottom row. The only other complaint that I have: the bottom of the case, even though it has rubber feet is still very slippery on my wooden desk. Surprisingly enough, a bit of saran-wrap did the trick and now it doesnt go anywhere. The LEDs are just plain fantastic. Since the manual (at least the one that came with my keyboard) is not in English, I looked up a tutorial online and easily found out how to cycle through them all. Holding Function + F8 will change the pattern---breathing, static, etc. Function + right or left arrow will change the color. Function + up or down arrow will adjust the brightness of the LEDs. Its very easy. I didnt install any additional software, and havent found a reason to so far. The black switches are very nice. I prefer them greatly over the standard clicky mechanical switch thats typically used for gaming. The difference is: there is no tactical bump or audible click. The bump happens when the key actuates when you press the key. Instead, the black switches are linear--they are smooth, not nearly as noisy, and are very comfortable to type on. However, this is very much a personal preference, and you should consider whats best for you. For example, the blue switches will annoy your coworkers as they are quite loud, so do NOT buy that style to bring to the office. And with that--I think thats it! I really love this keyboard and may purchase another to take with me along with my laptop. Its small enough for travel which is greatly appreciated. You truly cannot buy another keyboard with the RGB features and build quality for a better price elsewhere. If you were on the fence and about to buy a keyboard from whatever major brand at 3-4 times the cost---I would greatly suggest you buy this one instead. I dont miss the numpad enough to go back to a fullsize keyboard.

> 3 dayIve been using this every day for two years. My keyboard gets a LOT of use, both typing and gaming. I havent run into a single problem with this keyboard, the keys feel as fresh as they did when I first bought it. The RGB effects are very good with all sorts of different effects, if thats your thing. The compact design is great and saves space on your desk without feeling cramped in the actual keyboard. Seriously, at $50 I find it hard to be able to do much better at this price.

Greater than one weekCrazy good value for the money you’re spending. Keys are clicky (but not too loud) and very responsive. The soft blue lighting really brings it together as well. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a cheap but well built keyboard.

> 3 dayThis is a really great keyboard. I use it mainly for my laptop, but also have used it on my desktop, now and then. Overall, I have no issues with the quality of the keyboard, but my other half likes the feel and look of it also. That means she wants it. So I guess I might be in the marketr purchase soon.

> 3 day10/5/17 update: Im returning this. Today, the caps lock started getting triggered randomly despite my active avoidance of the caps lock key. And when it happens, the caps lock LED doesnt even turn on. As I use vim every day, this is very annoying and a hindrance to productivity. I regret cheaping out and will be purchasing a keyboard made by a reputable manufacturer. I bought this on a last-minute whim. Ive been eyeing the Razer BlackWidowTournament Edition for some time, after purchasing the Razer Mecha-Membrane keyboard not too long ago. I like the Mecha-Membrane, but it is a little too large to carry around on an everyday basis, plus I dont need a number pad for everyday usage. Pros: + The price point is good. For $50, you get a really nice-looking keyboard. Ive looked for other RGB compact mechanical keyboards but the ones I saw were either flooded with fake reviews or were poorly reviewed, which didnt inspire a lot of confidence. + The lighting effects are almost as nice as the Razer I have, but with the advantage of being able to change the effect without installing additional crapware. No offense to Razer or its fans, but I hate that you cant even (to my knowledge) cycle through the lighting effects without installing Synapse. For more complex and custom effects, I totally understand why Synapse would be required. + A keycap puller and brush are included. Cons - The keycaps are terrible! The ones on the end especially will fall off if you even look at them funny. Whenever I put this into my bag, I almost always have to scoop up the keys that got knocked out of place and put them back where they belong. The keycap puller is basically unnecessary because the keys are so loose. If theres any potential dealbreaker with this item, it would be the keys (more on that below). - The instructions are all in Chinese. I didnt have much trouble figuring out how to cycle through the lighting effects, control audio on my work machine (a MacBook Air), or adjust the brightness on the keyboard. But it still would have been nice to have instructions with more English than just the name of the product. - Very little pressure is required to actuate each key. Admittedly, this could be either a pro or a con, depending on what youre looking for. But so far for me its been a significant con. Overall, based on my initial impressions, Id give this 2.5 stars, but I rounded up. Between the softness/squishiness of the keys and the loose keycaps, Im on the fence about whether to return this. I will give it a chance because there are quite a few things I like about it and Ive not even had it a full day. I may try getting some different keycaps, but from reading the answers to questions about replacing them, it seems that would only be a partial fix because not all of them are standard-sized. The worst offenders (the esc and delete keys) are not standard-sized and therefore would not be possible to replace (see: https://www.amazon.com/forum/-/Tx38PWXL2JXJRXF/ref=ask_ql_ql_al_hza?asin=B01JG37496).

> 3 dayThis keyboard is great if you need one on the go. Its NOT bluetooth or wireless and only works when you have the cable plugged in, but I dont mind it not being wireless. I already like the fact that its small, easy to carry around, and you can you any MINI USB (Not Micro USB) to have it to work. All the keys light up including the secondary functions (Play/Pause, Volume up/down, etc.) and it helps when I am in the dark gaming or watching youtube and need to adjust anything. The tactile feedback of this keyboard feels like my mechanical blue switch keyboard but without the sound and I love that (This keyboard has black switches). I had a redragon mechanical red switch and I just couldnt get use to the feedback and I kept messing up when I type. The only con I see on this keyboard is that they used a mini usb which is dated instead of a micro usb, which most people will have planty lying around. They do supply you a mini usb cable so no need to worry though.
