I never realized how scissors were supposed to cut until I got these, after using right-hand scissors all my life. These are great. Seriously. If you are lefthanded, buy these. Cutting fabric doesnt suck anymore!

I got this as a birthday present for my best friend, who is left handed, and she absolutely loved them. She has a hard time using right handed scissors and a lot of classrooms do not have alternative scissors for people who use their left hands, and the ones that do, they generally end up being baby scissors which are really uncomfortable. I ended up buying these ones and a bunch of lefty notebooks for her, and she has been using them a lot in college, and is very satisfied with them.

The scissors are sharp and their design makes it very easy to cut straight lines.

Sewing

If you want right handed scissors with a grip contoured to your left hand, then buy these. If you want true left handed scissors, then stay away from these. I have a pair and they cut OK, but the whole point of them is that they are supposed to be left handed scissors. These will block your view of what you are cutting when the top blade goes up, among other things.
