21-11-2024Instruction sheet is printed on 1 3x5 card. Pictures are impossible to see and determine what they are saying. Their website is non existent. No further instructions available. Instructions are removal only with no installation instructions. Fortunately there are many u-tube videos by others available. The back of this screen digitizer had glue on it that would not come off with the cleaning pads provided. Even with some time with several alcohol pads it did not fully come off. Adhesive does not hold the screen tight May have to try heating it to make it stick?? In short find a better product. Do not buy this one. If it was just for the directions you could use it OK if your a pro installer. But with the sub standard and dirty product why would you??

> 3 dayGreat product that actually worked. My daughter fixed my grandsons iPad screen very easily and everything works. She says it doesn’t take long to do it yourself especially since she has no experience.

> 3 dayOverall I had no issues, but the adhesive is just junk.. You will need to use a professional 3M adhesive tape.

> 3 dayMy home button does not work, I tested several times before applying the screen on and I got nothing. At that point I had been through too much to give up so I put the glass on and used assistive touch to navigate the iPad. Tools are of poor quality. The screwdriver stripped itself. Do not recommend.

> 3 dayWorked perfect. When detaching connections, do not use metal tool to pry clips to avoid shorting the MB. If lcd does not turn on and stays black, detach battery from MB and reattach and turn on.

> 3 dayThe provided home button ribbon cable did not fit, due to the position of the slot took a lot of effort to even realize that it was not the size. After over an hour of trying to connect it i replaced the home button assembly with the one from the previous digitizer with no issues. After installation found that half of the digitizer does not respond. I didnt test before installation so unable to return. Purchase replacement from another brand that has better QC

> 3 dayUnfortunately this will be a middle-of-the-road review. First, the bad: After mocking-up the screen and digitizer, it became clear that the Home button did not work. I was able to work around this by removing the home button and its ribbon cable from my old, cracked digitizer and installing it on the brand new one. Fortunately, this worked, and it was no harder than any of the other operations that this digitizer replacement requires. The other thing is that I wish this kit came with a solvent to remove the old glue -- The two wipes included (one wet, one dry) were complete junk. I just used the included micro-fiber cloth for dusting the actual screen. Otherwise, the kit was very complete, including more tools than I ever needed for the job. The parts felt pretty good (perhaps the ribbon cables were a little thinner than what Apple provided). Everything works now, and the installation is a moderately difficult operation, so I wont trash the kit on account of the Home button not working. Im not even sure if its the physical button, or the ribbon cable that I couldnt get into its connector as well as I could the original one. But no harm, no foul.

> 3 dayClean install by myself, I’ve fixed my devices before without any issues but this kit did not work. The screen will not respond to any touches at all after install. I know it PARTIALLY is working because I can slide on one side of the screen but that’s it. Does not respond to any other touch or anything. I almost thought this kit was perfect but I guess maybe it’s a bad kit or I got a bad digitizer. Lame.
