this product is so bad I bought. This product has so much problems with the home button. The connection between lcd link is no match,it can’t used and doesn’t work. Just wasted my money and I ‘m so angry with that.

Clean install by myself, I’ve fixed my devices before without any issues but this kit did not work. The screen will not respond to any touches at all after install. I know it PARTIALLY is working because I can slide on one side of the screen but that’s it. Does not respond to any other touch or anything. I almost thought this kit was perfect but I guess maybe it’s a bad kit or I got a bad digitizer. Lame.

The screens themselves are nicely made. I like the preapplied adhesives, and I like the included tools. But after going through all the trouble to remove a screen, especially the first time on an OEM screen with all the glass shard mess, only to find out either the home button ribbon is cut or the button is defective, my faith in FixCracked has evaporated. There are too many other competitors to choose from, even here on Amazon. The home button issue happened to me twice with iPad Air screens and most recently today with a screen for iPad 4. The IPad Air screen I got for my wife had a small tear in the ribbon cable where it enters the board. With the iPad 4, I got the iPad all ready to be buttoned up and tested the screen and home button before removing the screen adhesives, and the button just did not work. So I removed the OEM button off the cracked screen, removed the FixCracked home button, and easily installed my original home button to it. The button then worked perfectly. I’ve learned quite a bit installing these screens myself and even more trouble shooting when they”re defective. But I honestly don’t need extra aggravation in my life, so I won’t be buying FixCracked screens again.

This was an easy fix for me. Instructions were very clear and easy to read and follow. And you get a handy set of tools that make it easier.

Instruction sheet is printed on 1 3x5 card. Pictures are impossible to see and determine what they are saying. Their website is non existent. No further instructions available. Instructions are removal only with no installation instructions. Fortunately there are many u-tube videos by others available. The back of this screen digitizer had glue on it that would not come off with the cleaning pads provided. Even with some time with several alcohol pads it did not fully come off. Adhesive does not hold the screen tight May have to try heating it to make it stick?? In short find a better product. Do not buy this one. If it was just for the directions you could use it OK if your a pro installer. But with the sub standard and dirty product why would you??

This came with all the needed tools to remove the old glass and install the new glass. I will say youll need a heat gun or blow dryer to help you loosen the adhesive from the old screen (in case this is your first time doing this). I loved how it came with the wifi part in case I broke it. The digitizer works perfectly, and I like how it included the home button. Made the replacement easier. I highly recommend this seller. As installing the new screen, after 3 hours of work, I was securing it and it broke. Extremely frustrated. I was so proud of myself for accomplishing this just to be shattered at all my hard work. As I sit here staring at another broken screen, there are more flaws to this. The adhesive is not strong enough, so it is popping up around the edges. Initially I was going to order a new screen, but I think I’ll just bite the bullet and bring it somewhere. So highly disappointed.

Screen looks and works fine (actually more responsive than oem) upon initial connection, however came with a faulty inoperable home key...hard to operate without use of home key...Supplier offered no resolution. Ended up removing home key ribbon/button module from old screen, and removing the supplied home key ribbon/button module and swapped it onto the new screen.

The set is complete, good product quality. Instruction is too small to read.

Purchased to replace cracked iPad screen. Adhesive lasted no longer than 1 week. Take it to a professional! Save your money and your sanity!
